Beautiful place, very well maintained. The air conditioner didn’t work properly and had no instructions on how to do it, but not a reason to not come back!

A beautiful old building restored in a masterful way; keeping the sense of past ( lots of tasteful details) with all the modern comfort. Beautiful rooms. Admired the Capitan meeting room.

So elegant
Interesting time to stay as Italy was on the verge of lockdown but standards did not drop one bit at this fabulous hotel. Staff were helpful, the hotel was immaculate and both the choice and service at breakfast was exceptional. I look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful historic hotel which is in a convenient locations with many shops and restaurant. Their bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! We’d love to stay here again if we visit Reggio Emilia!

Reception staff messed up our restaurant reservation meaning that we couldn’t get a proper evening meal. Hotel bar closes early. Rooms are dated and tired. Overall really poor

Dear Sirs, we totally disagree with this review and reject it. We're not responsible for what happened at the restaurant as we just made a reservation for you as per your instructions in a restaurant which is not part of our Hotel. We're sorry for the inconvenience but it didn't depend on us. As regards the rooms, you'd booked 3 standard double rooms and you got a free upgrading to 2 junior suites and a suite. Moreover, 2 rooms out of 3 have been newly renovated. We're sorry for this review. Hotel Posta

Hotel Posta is a beautiful historic hotel in the Centro Storico of Reggio Emilia. The facility itself is lovely, and the staff is attentive, knowledgeable and charming. We had a wonderful one week stay here.

The property is located in the center of town. The staff were kind and spoke English well. It was very clean and the room was very comfortable, a.c in the summer, felt like heaven!

Nice hotel and nice location.
It was a nice hotel with wonderful breakfast and the staff at the breakfast room was nice. The receptionist with the heavy British accent in English , was very nice until I handed my ID card and he saw my nationality. His voice tone immediately changed. I found this to be unacceptably rude.

Beautiful historic building in the heart of Reggio Emilia - walk out the door and everything you want in Reggio Emilia is just a few footsteps away. Front desk was very helpful and recommended great authentic local eateries.

A gem
a wonderful experience overall. I would definitely stay again. All of the front desk attendants speak English. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast is amazing. The rooms are charming and the area is absolutely beautiful.

Just Where You Want to Be !
I was visiting my granddaughter while she is studying abroad, and the town and hotel felt like a home away from home. Great pedestrian areas for walking and shopping, and the hotel is located right where you would want to be...in the heart of the beautiful, old city center. Great service at Hotel Posta, which has such an amazing history.
