We tripped the breakers when we used an air fryer to make crab rangoons, but figuring everything out took a while because half the breakers were installed backwards in the electrical panel. My recommendation is to be cautious and to not use too much electricity at once. After that, we moved the air fryer to a different outlet and everything was fine. Ahead of arriving, the host had warned us about a broken heater in the dining room. As a result, we did not try to use it. However, awhile after we got all of the breakers back on, there was a very loud pop and a large array of sparks shot out of a broken heater (even though it was off). It was quite scary- my mother-in-law was standing next to it and the sparks landed on her foot and burned her. I notified the host about the dangerous situation (despite not using the heater), but he was unapologetic and dismissive, telling me that he had already told us not to use it. I explained (again) that we were NOT using it, but it still malfunctioned in a pretty dangerous way. It was a disappointing reaction, to say the least. The owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. If f you’re coming to the dunes or have a boat there’s a long gated driveway for your boat or ATV. We have two small dogs the backyard was perfect to let them out. They have the best little coffee bar set up for you.
