About 30 Km away is the city of Évora (World Heritage), the Alqueva dam is a 15-minute drive away. Nearby are the castles of Terena, Portel, and Monsaraz (with excellent views of the Alqueva lake), there are megalithic monuments nearby. In this area you can visit excellent wineries, (Herdade do Esporão, Ervideira etc.) Our house has two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds, typical equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and sofa bed. It has wifi and satellite TV. We have a backyard with barbecue where you can enjoy your meals and terrace overlooking the countryside where you can relax. Welcome to our home, treat it as your own. Everything you need to enjoy your stay, whatever time of the year. Great base to explore the Alentejo. De omgeving is rustig en ideaal om even helemaal tot rust te komen. Binnen is het ruim opgezet en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, van een complete keuken tot fijne zitplekken. Het dakterras is echt een pluspunt; ’s avonds is het daar genieten van de sterrenhemel. Enige kleine tegenvaller: het bubbelbad bleek er niet te zijn, terwijl we dat wel hadden verwacht. You will need a vehicle but Evora is only a 20 minute drive away. This beautiful house has everything you need to make your stay feel like you’re at home.
