The front door of the “A” unit opens to a stairway leading up to the 2nd floor where there are two bedrooms. The 1st bedroom has a queen-size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a king-size bed. There is a full bath (tub/shower) in the hallway. The main living area and full-sized kitchen are located on the 3rd level where you can warm up to the gas fireplace. There is a flat-screen satellite Tv for your entertainment. By the dining area, a patio door opens to a private balcony with beautiful views of the mountains! On this level, there is a bathroom with a shower as well. From here the stairs lead up to a loft that overlooks the living area below. In the loft, there are two full beds and one twin bed. The Riverbend's are 5-6 blocks from the main ski area and are also on the route of the Red River Miner trolley. There are two car parking spots reserved for this unit or 1 car and a trailer. This property does have high speed wifi. No washer/dryer. Trailer parking for a small trailer only. The property offers a hot tub that is shared with guests that are staying at Riverbend 8E. (deposit required) All reservations are subject to our rental terms and conditions and cancellation/refund policy. In the event of a cancelation, merchant service charges are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please reach out prior to your stay. Riverbend 8 is a pet-friendly property with only 1 dog under 100 lbs (with a non-refundable pet fee, due at check in). For larger groups, please consider adding Riverbend 8E and/or Riverbend 7A & 7E. \*\*Please note that during the fall of 2024 and spring/summer of 2025 the town of Red River will be replacing waterlines. Their normal working hours are from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday; however, there might be times that they have to conduct work during the weekends. You can expect traffic distributions and temporary water outrages while they are working. Please note that on-street residential parking might not be available during construction. During these times, access to Red River and Pioneer Creek recreational area might be reduced or diverted. Please be aware that any construction or town activity is not in our control. If you have any questions, please let us know. No Smoking Guests agree to a $500 refundable security deposit for the hot tub. Please use the hot tub responsibly to avoid additional charges. The closeness to the highway made for difficulty sleeping. The parking was inadequate and difficult to come and go from. We were glad to have a roof over our heads due to complications with prior lodging, but it was not adequate. Sorry to be so negative, but it needs lots of work and reworking. ##### Fran R. First of all I want to state that Red River is not a 5-star resort town. If you are coming here looking for Breckinridge or Part City type accommodations in Red River you will be disappointed anywhere you stay. That said this unit is probably one of the best around. This place was clean, had everything you’ll need to have a pleasant stay (including fans to move air in those times where it gets a little warm in the summer afternoon without AC). The description didn’t prepare me for the fact that there’d be so many stairs. It is basically a flight of stairs upon entry in a doorway that is just big enough for the door. Then 2nd floor bedrooms and full bath, more stairs up to 3rd floor main area with kitchen, table, sofa and love seat. Nice porch with chairs and a table. Then last flight of stairs to the loft which is pretty neat. The river is like 30 feet off the front door and you can hear it’s calming flow every minute. Pleasant surprise. Very tranquil. My biggest gripe has nothing to do with this place and is the town of Red River itself. Maybe it was because it was off season but I just got the feeling that the shops and restaurants and people of Red River exist in a tourist town that hates tourists. It wasn’t outright hostility but a general sense of annoyance and impatience with stupid tourists. Lots of little “don’t do this, don’t do that” signs and rolling eyes. I hate tourists even when I am one but I don’t make a majority of my living from them! Anyway, I’d stay here again if I ever returned to Red River, which is not likely. I recommend. ##### William H.
