Waggin' Trails exudes Red Lodge charm with rustic finishes in a classic Red Lodge home. Fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living area, two bedrooms and a pullout sofa, 1.5 baths, smart TV with Roku, and a fenced yard for your dogs! Great for enjoying charming downtown Red Lodge only a block from restaurants, shops, galleries, and bars. Perfect for all seasons of exploring. The Space: This home is a turn of the century Red Lodge home that features many unique details while still maintaining a traditional Red Lodge aesthetic. The main level has a quaint living room with smart tv, pullout sofa, sitting chairs, and a collection of books for your enjoyment. The dining room seats 6 and has a gas fireplace for cozy nights in with friends or family. The kitchen is well equipped for your stay with items for cooking in or coffee for the mornings. With an open layout you can enjoy mingling with all your other guests. The back " Muddy Paws" room is set up for comfort for your four legged friends. It has a dog bed for your furry companion, water bowls and food dish, and a dog door leading out to the fenced backyard. Please note this room is not insulated, so be conscientious of your pups comfort. The full bathroom is located on the main level and has plenty of towels and all you need for your stay including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and handwash. Upstairs are two cute bedrooms including a queen bedroom with a small desk space and a full bedroom featuring great natural light from the skylight and an ensuite laundry room and half bath. Guest Access: Guest has access to the entire home and the private backyard The Neighborhood: Located one block off mainstreet making this location one of the best available. The neighborhood remains quiet while having all the fun of Red Lodge only steps away. Just a block from the Civic Center making it very convenient for sports tournaments and shows, one block north of the city pool for a great summer swim, and a block off historic broadway which is bustling with shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars. If you are looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, Red Lodge is hard to beat. Enjoy watching the wildlife wander by including deer, moose, and turkeys. Red Lodge has many parks for that have great amenities including river access for Rock Creek, disc golf, tennis and pickleball, play structures, basketball courts. ice skating in the winter and farmers markets in the summers, baseball fields and soccer fields, a city pool, and green spaces with canopies of trees. There are also several trails including Rocky Fork trail that follows the edge of the bench for great views or a small trail down by Rotary Park that follows the river. For the adventurers Red Lodge is nestled at the base of the Beartooths and sits just outside the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. So whether you want to explore the Nordic Trails in the winter, hike the mountain trails in the summer, or angle the rivers and streams, we have it all in our backyard. Skiers and Riders can come together here at Red Lodge Mountain and enjoy the fresh groomed trails of Lazy M or find themselves in the steeps and deeps of Headwaters. The Beartooth Highway is must in the Summer months. Take in the views from one of the most scenic drives in the country. The Beartooth Highway will bring you to the top of the world and you will enjoy high cascade lakes, wildlife, wildflowers, and stunning twists and turns. Yellowstone National Park is only 70 miles south of Red Lodge via the Beartooth Pass in the summer months. It is about a 3 hour tour to get there through Silver Gate, but it is a trip you wont forget! Getting Around: Downtown Red Lodge is only a block away! Yellowstone National Park is about 70 miles away via the Beartooth Pass, but it still take about 2 hours to get there due to the twists and turns along the way. Beautiful scenic drive! Red Lodge Mountain is about 15 minutes away. Other Things to Note: NO ac at the property. Dogs are allowed at this property with prearrangement (2 max). There is a $50 pet fee per pet. You are responsible for cleaning up after them and disposing of their waste. You are responsible for being in control of your dog(s) at all times. There is regular large wildlife at this property, and we want your pets to stay safe. Do not leave your pets unattended in the home. Only kennel your pets if they are kennel trained. Additional fees may be charged for any accidents in the home, additional required cleaning including excessive shedding, or damages to the home or furniture.
