This property would be amazing if management would be a little better. The manager would turn off the Wi-Fi for some reason and you would need to go to the front desk to ask her to turn back on. Very strange!!

Not too bad
They charged us parking for the 2nd car. And refused free late checkout after 11am. We would have to pay hourly for any extra hour. Right by the lake. Everything else is ok for the price.

Great location but this place look really old, need update for sure. We could see outside trough the wall, beds and pillow really not comfortable, coffee really gross(they should promote hometown best coffee.. No fan in bathroom, no hood fan so it got really smoky in the room when i was cooking. Soap and shampoo was poor quality.

You had a smoking room booked when you checked in and we changed it to non smoking with kitchen with no extra fee. It was been raining all day and you were not happy about it. Sorry, we can not do anything about weather.

Renter beware with this property. I’ll start by saying the location is great. We were in a pinch to find a place for the partial August long weekend due to another cancellation. Surprised to see availability beachfront but now know why. The property is dated and run down, uncomfortable furniture (holes in chairs, etc) and very limited resources in the room. The most frustrating part is the owners/people that work there. I am a very pleasant, professional person who was there with my child for a hockey camp - quiet and respectful. We had booked a room with one queen-sized bed and the person at check-in asked repeatedly if I wanted two beds - which I replied no. We checked into the room and on searching for the fridge (the furniture is not standard - it was not an obvious mini-fridge) discovered a murphy bed in a cupboard-looking wall piece. We did not use the murphy bed but did pull it back to check it out (looked sketch). Discovered when my credit card was posted I was charged extra and when I called to inquire, the person on the phone was very rude and said the bed was obviously used. I had read other reviews that had similar complaints - lots of hidden charges or charged for things that most hotels would include in their nightly stay. Just know that my recent experience was the same - whatever you paid is likely not what you will be billed at check out.

We confirmed that the hider bed was unlocked and been used so that there was a double beds rate charged.

Do not recommend, save your money, rooms are very outdated and smell like hangover, was charged an extra 80, seem like they will charge you for anything!!

Your reservation was cancelled due to debit card and we do not do cash deposit here. But you came to property to check in and we made a exception for you guys. You chose a family smoking room Max occupied 2 adults and 2 children. There was 2 adults and 3 big children indian people and then you brought another 2 adults into your room not allowed. You have been charged addtional people charge at the check out. You left huge waste bag and foods everywhere. That is why we do not do cash deposit! No respect and responsible people.

It was right location but room was terrible, air conditioning didn't work, I had to open the windows. No cleanex tissues ( they said, they don't provide) washroom was so tight, hardly can shave or brush.

Sorry for your experience. However, A/C is working fine. You just didn’t put cool mode properly. The cleanex was in the drawer.

Excellent location. Close to beach, dining etc. Room and bedding was very dated, carpet very stained etc. Air conditioner didn’t work so it was consistently about plus 30 degrees in the room. I didn’t get a good night sleep the 3 nights we were there. We all left tired and irritable.

While checking in I was warned about several "rules". It felt like I was being accused of poor behaviour. Our room's furniture was in dire need of cleaning. Our party of two were given one bath towel, a hand towel and one facecloth. The dishes and cutlery were VERY dirty. The location is terrific, right across from the beach.

Great location just across the road from the lake and beach. Also right for a few steps access to the hub of restaurants and evening vibes. That’s what you are paying for but the jury is out on whether that compensates for everything else that is lacking.

The rooms are pretty basic, but that's to be expected for the low price. Decent enough, no major issues. The primary reason to stay here is the excellent location. Literally steps away from the beach, and within walking distance of all of the pubs and restaurants on the strip. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice view of the lake and could have gone out to sit on a bench if the weather had been better. There was a small kitchenette but it was not well equipped to do any cooking. The bed wad comfortable and the unit was clean.

The property is very dirty, the carpets in the rooms are full of stains. Sheets are stained, pillows if you call them pillows are old and stained. Balcony is full of dirt and cobwebs

You requested a smoking room and it is what it looks like. It is not dirty as you think of. People smoking in the room on the bed as you did and it remains some stain of smoke on the floor and beds. No complains about it.

I was lucky to get a room in the top floor, right on the edge of the hallway...it made my direct view of the lake and the main tourist road totally incredible. Wish I could have stayed another 4 days.

This motel is not worth your money!! Not only is it dirty and incredibly outdated, they will try and charge you for extras. They said we stole a towel from the room. The towels look like they have been there since the place first opened there is no way I would have used one let alone taken one. The showers were filthy, toilettes were awful, beds are rock hard, and to top it off they are rude! I had booked 3 rooms and one couple has Covid so we tried to cancel and they were going to charge us full price so we had to find someone else’s to use the room last minute. They then responded to our review on google saying “this review is BS and maybe we will learn”!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY

Great place
Perfect location right across from the beach. Can see the beach from your room. Hotel is older but had all the amenities needed. Kitchen had two burner, microwave, fridge and coffee maker with coffee supplied. Every thing was fine. Would definitely stay here again.

great location
Most of the time you get what you pay for. This is one of those cases. The room was clean, the sheets had old paint on them and I did buy my own pillows. The location is fantastic. Perhaps some room renovation will be in the hotels near future. Overall 5 out of 10. Good room for the price.
