If I could give a worse rating I would. The only things that were actually acceptable was a) the water was hot and b) the refrigerator worked. This place had numerous issues starting with the carpet stunk, the bolt lock on the door was useless, the additional lock above the door handle was missing, the door and walls were in sorry shape with damage to the bathroom door, and the door's weatherstrip was missing. In short, this place was seriously below any expectation for any price. The Super 8 franchise should be ashamed to be associated with this property.

mold,smell bad. tv didn't work so was moved to another room. wimpy towels had 2 queen beds but only enough towels for 2. Beds and bedding in very poor condition. Annett was very nice and helpful.

The front desk gentleman was extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and better than expected. We were able to park right outside the door, which was fantastic.

Comfortable, spacious accommodation
We had a spacious room with king-size bed that was very comfortable. The check-in clerk was friendly and pleasant, and provided a delicious recommendation for dinner that we very much appreciated after a tiring trip in the rain. We were so tired we barely noticed any freeway noise, and the complimentary morning coffee and pastries were a simple boost to get us on our way again. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Motel was not as what the reviews stated. All motel rooms were to be non smoking, but our room surely had someone who had smoked in there as it was very evidence due to the heavy smell. Room had stains on the wall, dried up gum on the carpet in several areas in the room, bathroom fan was hanging from the ceiling with visible stacked on dust, coffee machine broke, front desk attendant was not very welcoming, area of motel had alot of drug use in area, and random people up to know good walking around. Motel was at a good rate,but i guess you get what you pay for.

This property is too old. Everything is old and dirty even the stain is broken. When I first came into the room , it smell bad.

Beware of room 217
I got what in paid for, I needed something just to spend the night as I passed thru. Refrigerator wasn't plugged in so the stuff I put in there turned sour. Drawer door to the nightstand was broken off, ironing board was broken, shower curtain rod was broken. The bed was ok, I was able to get a good night sleep.

First front inside filthy, tv not working had to someone from office to fix, furniture old and worn bed also tried to get on WiFi password did not work so I gave up just got in from driving 13 hrs from Arizona never again will I stay at one of these dumps but what do you expect for 90.00. On and one other I forgot coffee but no coffee pot left at 4:30 am to continue my vacation up north!

A good bargain. Nothing spectacular but I like that the new owner is undertaking renovation of the property in stages and that is to be commended. We stayed there before heading to Lassen National Park the following day. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of close by lodging options in the Lassen, Mt Shasta, Burney area.

The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful. Like many others, this was a quick pit stop on our journey. We booked cheap just to get a bed to sleep in for the night before hitting the road again. The beds were comfortable and the Lindene appeared clean. However the room itself smelt like a bad combo of mildew and marijuana. Once we cranked the AC, the smell got better and the room was more comfortable. It worked for what we needed but definitely not a 4 or 5 star place. Not sure about the area either. Not an upscale area by any means, so we made sure to bring in valuable from the car.

I booked the room the day before and called to request a downstairs room and the man was kind of rude but said he would put a note in the reservation. When I checked in the next day I had been given an upstairs room but the woman at the front desk was so pleasant and made sure I got a downstairs room and it was perfect. I will definately stay there again.

When I entered my room it was HOT when I turned on the ac i waited 15 minutes sitting in the miserable heat and realized the ac was not working. The lady at the front desk was able to get me in another room but i wish they would turn the ac prior to people checking in to their room.

Got a bad room
The room was comfortable as expected but the toilet seat was broken, the towel rack was broken, the shower head was loose and falling off and I had to put it back on. The layout of the room was such that the table and chairs were packed in front of the heater cooler combination units and I had to move them out of the way in the middle of the night to turn the cooler off. The layout was all wrong. Seems like they just don't care, running a room with broken up stuff.

This was the best motel we stayed at. Road trip from Vancouver BC to LA. Rooms were clean, big and well appointed. Owners have done great job on the renos and they were good folks. Highly recommended.

I would stay at motel 8 again.
Our stay was relaxing we had a good night sleep. Absolutely no noises around. The room was clean dust and dust free.
