"Firstly the property does not have its own parking. It’s a public car park that you need to walk to. Nowhere did it mention the height restrictions. Due to our car being too big for it we were asked to park even more further away. The stuff speaks poor English which makes it hard to communicate with them. In the middle of the night we were woken up by a very loud constant beeping noise, like an alarm which lasted for about 5 minutes. The breakfast was very basic and not a lot of choice....

Old style Novotel with visibly dirty wallpapered walls and our family room was so small you couldn’t walk around it without stepping on the beds. Cheap yes, but just too poor nowadays. "Staff were great. Easy access on the edge of town. A pharmacy next door. Easy to get to restaurants. Downside: lots of small holes in the walls which is discomforting. Shower stall way too small. First night tons of noise at 5am, quiet after that. Again, staff wonderful. Would stay there again."

The hotel staff helped us adjust the thermostat, but it was still too warm. It was also very noisy. A tourist group was up very early and made a lot of noise in the hallway, and they woke us up. "Approach to the property is through an area of town which felt rather rundown and unsafe. The carpark is fully secured, though, the hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room appeared newly renovated and was fabulous - comfortable bed, external electric shutter that fully blocked all light, enabling a restful sleep. We made use of the large bath, too. A nice breakfast was selected and worth the money. An easy walk to the centre of the old town with lots of eating places available. A good stay."
