Accommodation description: What a wonderful holiday home! If you want to holiday together with several families, this is the perfect location! It is so spacious that you might not even know where everyone is. The highlight of the house is the large living room with a lounge area and two large tables with ample seating all around. And what a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape through the large windows on 3 sides. A true panorama The kitchen is fully equipped with no less than two dishwashers. Also next to the open kitchen is a smaller dining area and a living room with a television. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, the room arrangement will be quickly sorted out upon entry. And to top it all off, there is a cosy stube downstairs, equipped with a bar for an after-ski drink or a game. The skiing area of Rauris is varied and modern. It has an altitude of up to 2175 metres. From here you have a fantastic view on the Grossglockner. This is the highest mountain in Austria. The ski area is ideal for families with children. This is due to the clear and simple descents. There are ski schools with playgrounds where the youngest skiers can practice a lot. The ski bus is included in the ski pass price. The Gasteinertal, Zell am See and the Hochkönig region are easy to reach from here. So if you want to ski somewhere else for a day, it's no problem from here. Rauris is situated in a narrow green valley and is surrounded by the mountains that belong to the National Park Hohe Tauern. The village has a walking network with more than 295 kilometres of well marked paths. The walking routes are for all levels and you can choose from daytrips, multiple day walking routes and themed walks. The environment of Rauris is watery and has many waterfalls, mountain lakes and streams. Would you like to spend a day swimming? The Rauriser Sonnblick-Freischwimmbad is an outdoor pool with spacious lawns and views of the beautiful mountain panorama. Furthermore, there are extensive cycling and mountain biking routes and for the daredevils among us, canyoning and rafting. Groups of partying youngsters are not accepted here Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Wir waren mit 9 Personen dort. Fast alle hatten ein eigenes Bad. Der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer auf die schneebedeckte Landschaft und Berge war traumhaft. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es ist wirklich alles da, was man benötigt. Das absolute Highlight ist das Wohnzimmer mit seinen Panoramafenstern! Wir haben uns in der Woche absolut wohl gefühlt. Top! ##### Irene B. Séjour de 7 nuits en juin 2023 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Daniela R. 26 janv. 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Aufenthalt im Januar '23 Zu unserem Aufenthalt hier gibt es etliches zu sagen. Auf den ersten Blick schien die Spykerhütte sehr gemütlich und gepflegt zu sein. Die neue Küche samt Wohnzimmer sowie der Wintergarten waren das Herzstück des Hauses. Alles neu eingerichtet, auch die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut. Dabei wurde aber die Sauberkeit aus den Augen gelassen. Spinnweben soweit das Auge reichen konnte, sowohl innen als auch außen (gut erreichbar auch bei kleiner Körpergröße). Verstopfte Abflüsse bei Ankunft in zwei Bädern, verdreckte WC-Bürsten und überall saudreckige Fenster, durch die man die tolle Aussicht auf die Berge garnicht genießen konnte weil sie sooo verschmutzt waren. Eine Frechheit, ein Ferienhaus in so einem Zustand zu vermieten (Anreise vor 16 Uhr nicht möglich da angeblich noch geputzt werden muss- wurde augenscheinlich nicht). Zudem war weder bei An- noch Abreise persönlicher Kontakt zu den Verwaltern was ebenfalls sehr schade ist. Die Vormieter- so wie auch wir- haben die Endreinigung mitbezahlt für nicht wenig Geld. Es ist schade das ein solches Haus nicht dementsprechend gepflegt wird. Wir können das Haus nicht empfehlen, für diesen Preis sind wir definitiv viel Besseres gewohnt. ##### Daniela R.
