Ferienhaus Raschau-Markersbach

The holiday home, modernised in 2016, stands separately on the owner's 2500 m² residential property on the outskirts of the village. It is equipped with a living room (upholstered furniture, flat-screen TV, radio/CD, DVD, wood-burning stove), 2 bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x rollaway bed for two people), a kitchen (electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, various kitchen appliances), bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer as well as electric heating. A cot and high chair can be provided for small children. At your disposal: W-LAN, balcony or seating area on the property, outdoor pool, barbecue facilities, sun loungers, bicycle storage and car park. The total price includes bed linen, towels, final cleaning and water consumption. Electricity/energy are billed on site according to consumption.



Markersbach is a municipality in the Ore Mountains, approx. 20 km north of the spa town of Oberwiesenthal. Several border crossings to the neighbouring Czech Republic are also about 20 km away. The town is known for its „Streichholzbrücke“, a 40 m high railway bridge made of a massive steel construction, which can be travelled on with steam locomotives. Markersbach is also home to one of the largest pumped-storage power stations in Europe. Guided tours of the impressive facility are not just for technology fans. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are several cross-country ski trails and downhill slopes with lifts. Equipment can be conveniently hired on site.
