In need of refurbishing, but great restaurant!
Hotel needs some updating and increased effort in cleaning, but the restaurant was incredible! We were blown away by the restaurant as we got there on a special holiday meal. The rooms were not dirty, but the furnishings were quite worn and needed replacing. The hallways were not well maintained and needed some additional effort in cleaning. I did like that they welcomed you to the room with a nice fruit basket.

Fantastic location and amazing staff
Great experience and I'd def come again! Rooms were ok but the work is going on the new rooms, new renovated rooms will be done soon which would make the hotel your destination in Rak! Great staff as well and the coffee bar and sisha area were very nice as well.

Fake image online vs reality
No welcome greeting, hotel rate as 4 star but really condition very very poor. I think not fair hotel does advertising adding lots of photos editing but reality is totally different. Staff not helpful and I had never experienced this kind of level of quality, facilities, service and customer service. Very poor.

Staff friendly but not always efficient, Internet not always reliable. Slow, sometimes disconnects. Rooms comfortable but need a face lift. No hot water in my room. Called maintenance several times but never fixed the problem. Price reasonable for the condition.

Give the RAK a crack!
The RAK hotel was very welcoming. The staff very accomodating. Very good choice for your dirham. If they would complete some upgrades (replace carpeting) they would definitely upgrade their value. The bed was way too stiff , but thats a oersonal preference. The pool and hotel restaraunt were better than expected. The lunchtime meat lasagna was delicious!

Weekend Stay at RAK hotel
It was a weekend stay with my family, the kids enjoyed in the pool, the breakfast was great, I met one my old colleagues there, it was really a surprise,overall the stay was fantastic.Thanks to the full team of RAK hotel!

I wasn't allowed early checkin Most of all they didn't have my booking at 9am because their office was not open but still allowed me to leave luggage which is a plus Breakfast food was ok nothing extraordinary ... Could be better

RAK Hotel
I've made several stays here. The staff is very courteous and efficient. They are very helpful and considerate of one's needs. I always feel welcomed when I'm here. There is a nice lounge area and the coffee shop area and restaurant area are both nice.

Return stay for location and relaxation
The Rake hotel is an older hotel with has had some renovations, these seem to be ongoing. So the lobby and entrance are new. The Third floor rooms are renovated but second floor rooms are more original. The pool is old style rectangular but is clean and open to relax in. There is a well equipped gym, two squash Courtland a tennis court which all seem To be serviceable if a little dated. I was there just before Eid and there were glass walled annex buildings outside near the pool that were set up for feasting and entertaining. The hotel is quiet, has good views of RAK and lots of free parking on site. Free WiFi worked good for our entire stay of 3 days. Shops are a short walk across the road. Staff are attentive and friendly. Much nicer than the Dubai scene, but just over an hour by rental car driving from Dxb terminal 2. Next time I am in UAE I will stay here again.

Good old style hotel. Comfortable with views.
Stayed here with my son for 5day break in RAK. No alcohol so bring some from duty free if you want it. Good food shops walking distance with ice. Room was made up every day by staff. Rooms old but clean. Wifi was mostly good. Good location if you have a car. Rooms have a desk so you can work in the room. I would stay again. Price was right and it was comfortable enough.

This hotel is like stepping back in time but not in a good way. It feels like nothing has been updated since the hotel was built. That can't be true but it sure feels like it. Th carpet is threadbare and of the cheapest variety. The porcelain on the bathroom sink was all worn away to the black underneath. The toilet paper holder was missing the thing that holds the roll so they just propped it on top. The shower never got hot, just lukewarm. Passable I suppose, but unexpected from any hotel. The bed was on the hard side but okay. Also felt like it was ten or more years old, not comfortable. I was able to get an iron and ironing board but the iron had no steam function and they gave me a sheet to put over the ironing board because there was no padding in the cover. Never made it to breakfast. Kind of glad for that. The staff were really friendly and helpful--probably the high point of the stay. This hotel made the Mangrove look like the Waldorf. I'm back there tonight and I am so glad.

I had a one night stay. There was some major construction going on but it was quarantined well. The staff was very friendly. The elevator was a bit small and could only hold 6 people. The room was fairly clean for a smoking room as I forgot to specify non-smoking. We called for extra towels and within 3 mins there was service at our door. And 3 mins may still be too long, as I couldn't believe someone got there so fast. Everything was there in the room except an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was excellent and the bag handler was very helpful and brought our luggage to our car in the parking lot. And I wasn't even expecting there would be such service, so we gave him tip for the help. The staff are very professional and really want you to enjoy your stay.

Günstiges Hotel- jedoch sehr abgelegen
Ein günstiges Hotel, mit vorwiegend arabischen Gästen. Ohne Leihwagen allerdings nicht zu empfehlen. In der Nähe des Hotels ist einfach NICHTS ! Die Frühstücksleistung ist nicht gut. Das Personal könnte mal einen Motivationskurs besuchen.

فندق سيء
للاسف الغرفة كانت سيئة جدا مقارنة بفندق 4 نجوم , كنت في غرفة 301 ,,, مزعجة حيث ان صوت المكيفات الخارجية كان مزعج وعالي جدا ,,, في الليل لم تتوفر المياه الساخنة في الحمام ,,, بالاضافة للغرفة كانت باردة في الليل وذلك نتيجة للجو في هذا الوقت من السنة ولا يتوفر لديهم بديل للتدفئة ,,, بالمجمل اقامتي في الفندق على مدار اربع ليالي كانت غير جيدة .
