The snorkelling was amazing - like bring in an aquarium! The water was crystal clear with plenty of coral fish about. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The dinner menu was average, a daily special would have been appreciated. First of all, they took a very long time to process my initial payment although it was shown as “paid”. Then, I had exchanged numerous e-mails explaining to them that we needed a downstairs beachfront suite due to my partner’s mobility issue. They had assured me that we would be given a downstairs beachfront suite. Upon arrival late at night we were given an upstairs suite and when I protested they eventually gave us a beachfront suite but on the far side of the resort away from the beach, while they kept handing the best downstairs beachfront suites to other couples that were arriving as we waited. The pool of the Sanctuary was not worth visiting and we did not use it during our stay. The food was basic and the general state of the resort was run down. We loved our 2 days. Wished it could have been longer. The restaurant has an awesome selection of gf food available.
