Muri Beach House - Right on the Beach Perfect for families

Everything is supplied, the home is in the middle of Muri, so easy walking along the beach to Sails, Pacific Resort, Captain Tamas, Island nights various Restaurants and the Muri Market and of course the wonderful Muri Lagoon.

Muri is home to a variety of eating establishments and the property is just a short distance to a store for the day-to-day basics. The sailing club is also close by and a hive of activity on Saturdays with their sailing regatta. Windsurfers and snorkelling equipment can be hired from Captain Tama’s situated next to the sailing club.

Laundry facilities are provided as are all linen and towels for your stay

Best location

This a large clean no frills property with everything you need unless you need air con. It's great asset is location. Within a few hundred mètres of the reef tour operators, Charlotte Pihos Turtle tours, the famous night market, multiple cafés, a museum, a large general store, and a pharmacy

Island Paradise

Accomodation right on the beach with 2 loungers which were put to good use. Grandsons loved the sea and found it easier swim spot near the Muri Sailing Club. Easy access to Muri Night Market, the Museum, stores etc. Roosters were no problems, and the boys enjoyed the roaming dogs. Bit sad at the state of the waterfall area. Beautiful Rarotonga. Thank you.

Family holiday

We found Muri beach house to be accurate to the description, spacious and relaxing. It suited 3 adults and a 4yr old well, we enjoyed the deck and seating outside and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Eddie’s communication was fantastic, the house is a perfect location and had everything we needed! Highly recommend booking this property - lots of options for food and entertainment within walking distance, located right on Muri beach - it couldn’t have been more ideal!

Fabulous family house in a perfect spot.

We loved our stay at Muri Beach House. The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped for a family holiday . Being right on the beach you could open up all the windows and get the sea breeze & there were no insects to worry about. We really enjoyed the deck with its wonderful view across Muri beach ( the nicest on the island in our opinion ) and being so close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Thanks Eddie for a wonderful stay and for making the whole booking process so easy.

Muri Beach House - Brilliant location, large, older house but very clean

Amazing central location 100m from the Muri Night Markets. An older house but very spacious and clean. Comes with all the usual amenities. No aircon but fans kept us very cool at night in early December. Short walk to restaurants, cafes, Lagoon cruise operators, car,, motor scooters, paddleboard etc hire. Eddie was very friendly, well organised, informative, and reliable. The airport transfers he arranged were waiting for us at airport and dead on time going back. Highly recommended.

Amazing place for family to stay - safe, good amenities, great location (just a few minutes walk to all the Muri activities), quiet, nice beach (bring reef shoes for occasional coral). Great value.

Loved our Stay

We loved our stay at this property. It was all we wanted it to be, spacious, comfortable and able to self-cater, with great proximity to all Muri offers, and easy availibility to the beach. We loved the deck out the front of the property and breakfasted there each day, and sat in the shade when we wanted some time out from the sun. It was a great backdrop for a perfect Rarotongan holiday with 6 of us staying. Can thoroughly recommend!

What a great little property right on the beach. I cant say enough about this place. Yes it does lack a few things i.e air con but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. the place was clean and tidy and a comfortble place for our stay. If you have little ones you can lock the gate to beach and the driveway so they are in a secure compound. It was great to have breakfast on the deck each each morning looking out at the muri beach lagoon. Living in paradise. A++++

Old house with personality right on best beach

Wonderful location - right on the beach and easy stroll to local coffee shops and night markets. Older style beach house but well maintained. A couple of pieces of furniture are a bit worn or wobbly but were still functional. It gave the place personality of an old beach house. It was freshly painted when I stayed and the kitchen was clean and functional with all the basics. The bathroom is an unusual design, with the hall going through the middle, but that added to the quaintness - not a problem for me but if the house was full, could make showering a little more difficult. Great secured undercover area at the back for laundry and beach items. On the down side - The grass on the front yard (beach side) is very sparse - mostly sand and grit. Also, it doesn't have any insect screens - I trod on a bee in the dark in the evening - needless to say - that part wasn't fun. Enjoyed my stay.

Very conveniently located!

The house is well set up with 3 bedrooms. Beach access is excellent. Walking distance to convenience stores, cafes and Muri Night Market. Bathroom and toilet facilities around the main entrance need thoughtful management for privacy.

The directions between airport and home need updating, especially in the dark

The property is well positioned on the beach and well off the main road with lots of amenities within walking distance, its on a full site so plenty of room for children when not on beach.

Perfect beach base

We loved being right on the beach, yet private as the generous wooden deck with picnic table and sunloungers looks down on the beach. (2m above and view framed by trees)The house is well set up and easy to live in. Freshly painted inside, cheerful, curtains, floral paintings and placemats, multiple fans on floorstands which are easy to move around as needed, big fridge and freezer on top, washing machine and lockable covered area with BBQ for storing beach gear and drying clothes. Hose and taps in convenient places and lots of doormats.No road noise. Not flash, it is like a 1970's NZ bach used to be, but so easy and relaxing to live in.We would love to come again.
