The house has been updated kitchen. Other parts of the house have been updated as well. Brand new furniture and pictures have been put up and it is available now! This house will be close to everything at its centrally-located place in Rapid City. It is within 15 minutes of Bear County, Reptile Garden, Watiki Water Park and 30 minutes from Mt Rushmore. Send a direct message if you have any questions! Let this be your home away from home, right here in the heart of Rapid City. Only 15 minutes from the airport, it is couple blocks away from the historic and charming downtown area. There you can walk to find delicious dining options, shopping centers and awide varity of facsinating museums. Also, there is a coffee shop right next door to the house that can make you a delicious latte and a breakfast bagel in the morning!!! \- Spearfish, Deadwood, and Sturgis within 40 minutes \- Custer State Park, Mt. It was not 100% upon arrival. Yard people had just gotten there. Didn’t bother us much. They seemed bother a bit. Coffee machine did not work. Happened to find another one and used that one. It lacked the basic needs such as dish soap, hand soap in the bathrooms. It didn’t have any shampoo, even though the dispenser was there. Bottles of all this stuff were under the sink, but they were all empty. Issues were pretty minimal that we could deal with. The only thing that we had trouble dealing with was the bathtub was clogged so every time you use the shower, the tub was clogged in the upstairs bathroom. As well as the sink in the upstairs bathroom, toilet and sink were all clogged. We used a plunger. There was a Drano bottle that was underneath the sink, but it was empty. Owner notified. My biggest concern in the whole situation was the gas stove. I did inform the owner and I took videos and I took pictures and sent them. Three of the knobs were broken or missing you had to be really careful using the broken knobs because they wouldn’t shut the gas completely and you could hear gas leaking. So every night we had to make sure that that was closed and not accidentally left open even remotely. That was a dangerous potential for carbon monoxide poisoning. I would not recommend it as a stay until all of that is fixed unfortunately. Yard had some debris, outside garbages were full when we got there but luckily, it was trash day and we took them out to be emptied. Kind of a rough neighborhood but never felt unsafe. We needed a place big enough for three different families where during the day we could go on adventures and in the evening have a place we could all hang out, relax, play cards, make food and sleep.The basement was perfect for the older kids to hang out! Everything in the kitchen works great. Location is within 20 minutes of Black Hills attractions. The house is on a busy street, but scooters is right next door. Parking in the alley was preferred. Downtown was fun and is about a mile away, could walk if you wanted to. Only complaint was there was not enough paper towels and TP for our group. The road in front of the home was pretty busy, but there was parking provided at the back of the house, which was much more convenient. Our rating is based on a couple of things. First, we did not understand the house is located on a very busy city street with lots of street noise. Séjour de 2 nuits en juillet 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Gaola Y. 20 juill. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Good house The only issue we had was that when we arrived, we weren’t able to get in or contact the owner when we checked in even when we did notify them that we would be arriving late at night. Once we were able to contact the owner to let us in, they were very responsive. We had an issue with the WiFi password and we were able to resolve it quickly.
