« Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! »

« Loved that the lake was only a few steps out our door and the lake was perfect for swimming. Also the hot tub which was shared was never overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to others as a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room in the cabin for myself, my 9 year old daughter and her two 16 year old girlfriends. »

« The house was very nice, clean, plenty of room and furnished nicely. It had been recently updated and full of everything you might need. The bedding, dishes, towels etc. were top notch. The owners were very nice and considerate of our needs. They were a pleasure to talk to. »

« Quiet, cozy and clean. We spent 5 days and enjoyed every day. The lake was beautiful and it was so much fun using the kayaks. We made a fire one night, wood was available for purchase at the going area rate. Marshmallow roasting sticks were provided. »

« This was a family get together. The location and home exceeded our expectations. From the easy check in to all the amenities available we were very pleased. « We had a wonderful stay at River Falld Cottage! The location is perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet convenient to everything we needed. The house was well-equipped with everything to make our weekend comfortable and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, steam shower, and the beautiful views of the river right outside the windows. It was the perfect spot for a refreshing getaway, and we will definitely stay here again. »

« Updated cottage with all the essentials! I appreciated having a small front and backyard with grass for the dog. Unfortunately the lake access nearby doesn’t allow dogs, so we had to go elsewhere. No AC was a bit difficult as we were there in hot weather. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. »
