The historic site was once a grist mill built in 1840 on 6 acres bordered by Marl Creek and the South River. This rustic gem is hidden away in Vesuvius, Virgina and provides a quiet rural get away with outdoor activities in the area and historic and cultural activities. Breakfast is included for weekend stays (Thursday, Friday and Saturday night stays). Breakfast service is not available on weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday night stays). Linda is a fantastic host and so very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed multiple nights. Of all the places we stayed during our vacation this was, by far, our favorite!!
