"You only learned after booking that the owner would be in the basement at all times and moving cars around constantly. That was not explained in the listing. He also mowed the lawn while we were there, which was not pleasant while trying to nap. The keypad to enter the home doesn’t work properly and you have to type the code multiple times to finally enter. The beds are not comfortable at all. Top Randolph Hotel Reviews

Madison Hotel

Madison Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We have been going to this hotel once or twice a year to visit relatives and spend time in New York City for many years. The rooms are always clean, the staff efficient and helpful. We take the NJT train to NYC (it is walking distance to the hotel) so no need to find a parking spot, trains run often and drop you at Penn Station. Their breakfast buffet (included) is real scrambled eggs, beverages, cereals, toaster items and pastries, always so much better than the usual fare at 'franchise' motels and food and beverage at the attached Red Dog tavern is also superior."
