Our second family home is a secluded and modernized adobe villa with three gorgeous kiva fireplaces, vigas ceilings, beautiful tile work, chef's kitchen, and modern baths. Situated above the Taos Valley in the trees, Casa de la Mañana overlooks Taos, the Rio Grande Gorge, and the Sangre de Cristos mountains. There was a group of 10 and with 2 of the bedrooms being downstairs, it ended up being perfect for the 2 oldest couples with a bit of separation for the "kids" up stairs. The family was super impressed with the views, the location and the overall spacious property itself. The check in process was extremely easy and the hosts communication was quick and effective. We were only able to stay one night and all of the out-of-towners want to come back out to stay there again! The pictures do not do the views of the gorge, city or mountains justice. The house set up perfectly for one family on the bottom floor and the other on the top. The home was impeccably clean. We had a group of 9 adults. The back deck was great for an evening bbq. The door lock didn't work when we arrived, but the owner was easily able to reset it for us. ##### Kerri C. My group and I had the best time staying in this gorgeous home. Plenty of space for all of us and our ski gear. Quick 45 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley. Views from every room. Views from the huge porch overlooking the town and the gorge were beautiful. The home and property are extraordinarily spacious. Perfect for multiple family units. Once you find your way to the house (which can be a little troublesome to find), you’ll find yourself perched upon the foothills of Taos with a beautiful nighttime of the city’s lights and the mountains in the backdrop. I was traveling solo, but the house itself could easily accommodate 10 guests comfortably. Everything was spotless, the rooms with comfortable bedding, the kitchen equipped and ready to be utilized by those inclined to do their own cooking. Thank you Michael for your hospitality!
