"UNDER CONSTRUCTION. NO POOL. NO HOT WATER. BROWN COLD WATER! Bad Wi-Fi. This place was a disaster. Not only did the water not work on one day but when it came back on it was so brown it caused the white towels to turn brown. And they didn’t even provide bottled water in the empty fridge. Our balcony view was of a construction site! with construction noise all throughout the day. The Wi-Fi went in and out. Total waste! "

"The ocean view studio we were in was spacious and it was a million dollar view. From the moment we checked in, I could feel myself relaxing. We didn't want to leave! We were on the southside of the property so we were far from the main pool (the only pool open right now) but we are more beach people so we were nice and close to the stairs that go over the road and get you right to the most beautiful beach. It was a gorgeous weekend, but never crowded on the beach. As we got home, we realized we left our pillows! I was able to text the hotel to get everything sorted out. We got our pillows shipped back to us promptly. I highly recommend this hotel. Great value and spectacular location. We will be back!"

![These painted details appear all through the chapel along the edges of the walls and lining the ceiling.  With all the beauty that surrounds them, it is difficult to realize just how inventive and colorful they really are.  I thought I'd give you a look at an area where they actually come to the foreground just to see how remarkable they are.

Whew, I've posted a lot of pictures from the chapel this evening.  Please indulge me, the place is just too extraordinary to pass by in a hurry.

Tomorrow we move back out onto the grounds and investigate a few of the other exhibits at the mission.
