Amazing and friendly staff! We stayed for my fiancé’s birthday and they were so kind and accommodating for this!! Would stay again

The breakfasts were excellent. The family room in the basement (room 30) was very noisy starting at 6:30 am each day. All we could hear were suitcases being rolled across the tile floors over our head. I mentioned this to the counter staff and all they said was sorry! We have stayed here twice before in the family room basement suites and they were very quiet. Stay away from this room at all costs.

The front desk staff are very nice. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, water and snacks are provided. The elevator was not working on the day we arrived so we had to climb two floors up to our room and my husband is 91 so it wasn't easy. The rooms are very very small and we were upgraded to a deluxe. There is no hair conditioner or body lotion provided. There was no iron or ironing board and had to wait 2 hours and ask twice for one to use. I think 4 star is pushing it, expect more like a 3 star stay. The area is very popular, very close to China town but the whole area looks a little run down in the mornings when it's quiet.

This property is spectacular!! A few steps to The Horse Guards , yet quietly tucked away from any noise. We stayed at many properties throughout London, and this is by far the most affordable historical elegance you will find. When we are staying with friends in London, we always stop in for coffee in the morning or a nightcap in the evening.
