4/10 Poor

Disappointing waterfront!
The pictures advertised are very misleading. The waterfront does not have a beach as listed, it is just large rocks. It is very difficult to enter water for adults and impossible for children. It is difficult to put in any water craft like paddle boat or kayaks. The dock is not long like in pictures, drops down a lot in one corner and there are no steps to get into water. Even if we could get in we could not swim at all due to blue green algae swim advisory which a local resident informed us occurs regularly from mid-August till September. You can’t see the waterfront from inside cottage as another home is located between it and the water with only a narrow yard going down to water. The cottage was very dusty. We didn’t turn on ceiling fans as you could see the couple inches of dust that were on top of them. The kitchen was poorly stocked - only 3 dinner knives, only one pot, no bake wear, no measuring cups, etc. Need to pack as if you’re going camping. The fridge and stove were a little dirty. Beds and bedrooms were fine but beds need fitted sheets on bottom instead of flats sheets used. The kids climber shown in pictures is in disrepair … slide not attached, long grass and weeds all around (in desperate need of a weed trimmer). The fire pit up by cottage was nice and kids enjoyed the ninja rope. Definitely got lots of steps in walking down to the waterfront from cottage. Neighbours were lovely. Over all cottage is poorly maintained. Not worth the money paid.

Neglected place. Very disappointed
Pictures on vrbo are very misleading. Cottage is set back behind another home so is not completely waterfront. Cottage is neglected, musty and needs a lot of work. It was not worth the money paid at all. Very disappointed.

Nice stay but not worth the money we paid
It was great check in process for us. Place was clean enough. Bed was not comfortable enough. Kitchen has almost every utensils. Hot tub was great. Fire pit area was great and clean. It has great back yard. Property owner is very nice person we had good communication over the phone. Backyard is maintained and it just goes directly to the lake. Overall it was good stay for 7 people.
