We decided to head inland and wanted somewhere where we could get a mix of nature and excitement and this was the perfect spot. The back yard overlooking the lake is beautiful and relaxing, and it was just a few minutes from downtown Raleigh and a short distance to some great hiking trails. Abigail was a great communicator and also arranged for us to check in early, which was a huge help as we had our 4 year old son and dog with us and had spent a lot of time in the car. The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend with friends. The only feedback we have was that the bathroom in the hall didn't have a door latch which was not ideal but didn't necessarily impact the overall stay. The hosts were communicative. It was in a safe, cute neighborhood, and everywhere we needed to drive was an easy drive all weekend! The space was perfect, and the beds were all incredibly comfortable! If it's not Pollen seasin in March, the backyard would be amazing, but the view is beautiful and private! Our dogs also loved the fenced in backyard and space!
