Insta Worthy Stay! - Fun in Downtown Raleigh!

Great place for families or friends to stay in downtown Raleigh! Checkin is at 4pm and Checkout is at 10am.

Newly decorated and ready to be enjoyed.

You can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and night life. 3 bedrooms and comes with a coffee maker, shampoo & soap, blow dryer, iron, washer/dryer, TV, toaster, microwave.

Near Citrix, Red Hat, Courthouse, Marbles museum, IMAX, Convention.

Parking for 3 cars + free side st parking. Great private backyard. 6 real mattress beds + 1 futon + 1 air mattress.

There are 8 total beds!

1 queen bed - forest bedroom
1 queen bed - rainbow bedroom
2 twin beds - modern room
1 sofa sleeper - rainbow bedroom
2 twin beds (day bed with pullout) - living room
1 queen air mattress - can be put anywhere

I love opening my home up to awesome people! However, there are people that do not respect the spirit of VRBO. Please read all my house rules. Parties that have not been approved will result in immediate removal of property with no refund. Extra guests that have not been accounted for in the booking will also result in forfeiture of deposit.

RULES
- I am a no shoe household! Deposit will be charged for damages.
- Early checkin for rush cleaning. If offered and booked prior - $80.
- Late checkout for rush cleaning. if offered and booked prior - $80-$150. Late checkout if not offered and booked prior - $200.
- No guests outside of the booked number of guests are allowed in the house.
- Absolutely no pets due to severe allergies. The fee for cleaning air ducts and furniture the last time this happened was $2000.

EXTRA RULES
A few extra rules I've had to add! I've had a few parties, so these rules are probably not relevant to most guests, but please read them and message me if you have any questions!

- No local guests. Any local guests reservations will be automatically canceled with no refunds. If any local guests arrive, this is considered a lease violation and everyone will be removed immediately from the house by local authorities.

- No drugs on premises. No smoking weed or cigarettes or anything else inside the house. The fee for smoking in the house is $3000 for the deep cleaning cost.

- Quiet hours after 10pm.

- There is a per person booking fee per night of $20 that will be accounted for in the booking fee. Please make sure to add the correct # of guests. If not done so, the per person fee upon checkin is $40pp per night. The per person fee is charged for the entire duration of the stay and cannot be prorated.

Cancelled upon arrival

I have been debating whether to post this but as two young females travelling from a different country it really impacted our trip. We arrived at this place around 9pm after a day of flights and upon out arrival had to cancel our stay as the cleaning staff from the previous guests had not shown up. The beds were used, towels were dirty/ in the hallways, and all spaces were unkept and dirty. The property owner was extremely apologetic and responsive to us which I am grateful for and she did refund the full stay as we could obviously not stay there. This leads me to believe this was an unique occurrence and not a pattern. However it was a big inconvenience and rough start to the trip in a state we had never been too. The only frustration I had was we had paid money for ubers to and from this location to the hotel we ended up staying at. There was a large chunk of time between check in and when we arrived that I would have appreciated having the host cover our ubers for the travel to the vrbo if they could not communicate this issue in advance as we would not have headed to that part of the area for any other reason except to stay at the house.

Good location, comfortable home.

The house served its purpose for my sisters grad weekend. Location was good and home was clean. The only issue we really had was that the cleaners entered the home without knocking prior to the check out time. There was also an excessive list of rules including a request to not wear shoes in the home with the threat of a fee. Seemed pretty aggressive considering the condition of the home.

Cozy home close to downtown!

This was a fun little house to stay in! The decor is eclectic and bright. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the bathroom was stocked. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you… it was quiet and we felt safe at night (although we did decide NOT to walk where we wanted to go). There’s enough parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway and plenty of free street parking. The drive to the children’s museum was only 5 minutes. As for food… door dash has plenty to choose from, but there are multiple great places within a 5-10 minute drive. The host was pleasant and quick to respond. We will definitely book again next time we are in the area.

Annual Christmas Getaway

Property was exactly as presented. Owner was very prompt in answering my questions as a first timer to VRBO. Property was convenient to downtown Raleigh activities. The entire family enjoyed our stay.

Dirty underwear from previous guest left on towel bar in bath, owner's response was "Sorry, glad every else is fine". Cobwebs in corner of living room w/ a dead roach. Threadbare washcloths. When asked for refund of cleaning fee, owner offered $60.

Great home to stay at!

The house super cute and super clean and stocked!! If you want to be close to the Coastal credit union music park for a concert this house! It's 10 minutes away and that is perfect!! I found that if we wanted to go into town where most of the restaurants and bars are, it's not really walking distance, definitely a drive. Its about a 5-10 minute drive.

Flamingo House Downtown Raleigh

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo House. Our 3 day event at the Raleigh Convention Center was made easy thanks to renting the Flamingo House. The house is a well-maintained property on the edge of downtown. Easy to find, easy to access, easy travel to our event!
