This budget friendly listing features a queen bed in the master bedroom. The bathroom can function as an ensuite or guest bathroom. It has a full walk in shower and toilet in a private area with a double vanity just outside for privacy. The living area has a new couch and chair for hanging out plus a bench seating and table for indoor eating. Full size appliances and laundry. The deck has outside eating plus seating for sunset views and happy hour. Satellite tv, dvd player with dvd's and access to wifi is available. This cottage is easy walking distance to Rainbow Bay restaurant so going out to dinner, hanging out at pizza night, or enjoying happy hour is just a few minutes away. A longer walk gets you to Smugglers Beach and Rainbow Bay Beach. We have particular dietary needs so being able to cook our own meals is really important. That said, some new pots and pans would be nice—scratched nonstick coating is bad for your health. We were in Eleuthera to work on our boat and the ability to launder our towels and rags was very handy and saved a lot of money and time when compared to going to the laundromat. Bring TP! We weren’t thrilled with the bed—mattress was uncomfortable and pillows very flat. The furniture was adequate but not great—bed and dresser but no bedside tables, couch and chair but no end tables or coffee table. Also, we’d have LOVED being able to see the sunset over the water. The trees in the yard need topped in order to allow a view of the water. That would be a huge attraction for this property, especially with the spacious porch. What a great place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset! The driveway is VERY steep and bumpy, though our rental made it up (an old POS Nissan Cube). Note: do NOT drive up Signal Lane as a shortcut from Queen’s Hwy!! That “road” should be blocked off. We bottomed out going up that thing. Follow the directions given. (Signal Light Rd is fine, tho). There is a wonderful book collection available. Lol, someone has reading taste similar to mine—Laurell Hamilton, Twilight series, etc. We would return to this property. The view from the patio through patches of the trees are amazing, imagine lounging their and admiring that view unhindered by trees. Overall the stay was great, house clean and neighborhood quiet.
