"Everything was great but make sure anyone who needs to get in touch with you knows your room number in case of an emergency. The police ended up being called for a welfare check because my phone was broken and the hotel receptionist wouldn’t send my spouse’s call through to my room due to lack of knowing room number. It didn’t matter that my spouse had my Expedia itinerary number either. Other than that everything was fine. "

"We were visiting town for a meeting, and this was lovely. Having a kitchenette was helpful. I recommend you add a row of hooks or pegs in the bathroom. "

"It was located in a decent area and we had no issues with anyone or worried about anything. Some of the staff were so nice while you could tell others didnt want to deal with anyone. Kind of disappointed they offered breakfast but had nothing out but waffle mix since the drink machine was down and they had no cups plates or silverware. One of the ladies were so sweet and went over to the DG and bought stuff. It was unusual to see all the rooms open and trash just in the halls. I think that had more to do with understaffing and over working the ones who were there. It is a place we would stay again but now that we've been we will make other arrangements in the am for a quick bite and take our own trash bags so we can remove it vs. Placing it in the hall. I do recommend the hotel. "

" I had an enjoyable stay at the Carmel Inn. The employees and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very attentive. The room was clean and about what I expected for a budget hotel. The only issue I had was the room I was issued was the outdated television which was not a smart TV. But I had my Roku device so I was able to stream the programs I wanted the free continental breakfast was great the first morning, however the remaining mornings it was unattended and only dry breakfast available. Overall the hotel was great. Unfortunately weather did not allow me to use the beautiful pool. Highly recommend for budget conscious travelers."
