Villa Giovanna

8/10 Good

"The rooms and hotel is spotless immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable with a safe for storage of valuables. There was an extra single bed to put luggage and clothes on because there are no drawers for storing clothes. And the closet had mix match of clothes hangers not suitable for hanging pants. There are exterior stairs at entrance without handrails posing a tripping hazard. I gripped on a decor plant by the stairs for stability. The breakfast was toast bread and cold cut meats every morning with other continental breakfast options. I enjoyed a cappuccino every morning."

Hotel Terminal - Caroli Hotels

8/10 Good

On voyait à peine à travers.

Victoria Palace Hotel & Zen Wellness

10/10 Excellent

"We arrived early and were offered use of the pool, changing room and lunch. Our room was ideal, and well fitted (although no kettle, available on request). It was nice and quiet, both by the pool and in the room, and an easy 5 minute walk to the beachfront with cafes, bars and shops. We had a car and parking was easy, so it made this hotel an ideal base to explore the Salento area and Gallipoli. All the staff were friendly, both on the desk and at breakfast which was a buffet style with some hot options. On departure we were again offered an room extension, use of the pool all day and the Spa to freshen up. All in all could not be faulted."

Puglia - Private villa with private pool, close to the sea and olive groves

10/10 Excellent

"From the moment I arrived, the kindness and thoughtfulness of Antonio and Assunta were amazing - thank you for looking after me, your advice and kind offers. The villa itself was in a beautiful and tranquil location, with everything you could need. There was even a roof terrace with a beautiful view down to the sea. The large garden area had lots of different areas to sit outside and enjoy, including a pond and rockery which Antonio had built himself. The seafront and beach at Torre Vado could be reached on foot (about 2km downhill on quiet roads) - a great place to go for a swim, to eat or for a drink. The kitchen was very well-equipped and there was a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and some wine to welcome me. It was a great location from which to explore the coastline - Gallipoli, Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca and only an hour from the beautiful city of Lecce which was well worth a day trip. Some great recommendations for places to eat from Antonio and places to visit.Antonio was always available for help or questions, but was also discreet and careful not to disturb. Very kind hosts and a truly beautiful place to stay for ten days.Grazie mille per tutti !"
