Wenn es regnet, gibt es keine Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Schlafzimmer sind echte Schlafzimmer mit einem engen Gang und einem Kleiderschrank. Das jeweils hintere Bett ist nur vom Fußende aus besteigbar. Die sanitären Anlagen an Bord sind eingeschränkt nutzbar. Zum Duschen oder für "größere Geschäfte" muss man die Sanitäranlagen der Marina benutzen. Ich möchte mir das nicht bei Regenwetter vorstellen! Die Einrichtung ist gut und die Ausstattung... Der hohe Preis für die Endreinigung ist nicht gerechtfertigt, wenn man feststellt wie geputzt worden ist. Die Agentur hatte uns allerdings angeboten, wir sollten uns melden, wenn etwas nicht in Ordnung ist, haben aber vorgezogen, es selbst zu machen, nachdem die Öffnungszeiten der Agentur immer erst Nachmittags waren. Aber unsere Ansprechpartnerin dort war ausgesprochen nett." The rooms were huge and spacious- our party of 4 really only needed one room if we knew the size but had two rooms and it was ample space. The location was great, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are charming and beds comfortable (although soft). Would recommend and stay here again. Ask reception how to get into the tower - it’s a hike, but the view is amazing! The castle is generally a little rundown (but nothing that ruins the grandeur of this once stately home) Both our rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean! Based on reviews, we had decided not to have dinner at the castle, but there are some cute options near. We did have breakfast and it was excellent, with everything you may need to start the day with a full stomach - we took her out to sit in the gardens. There was a lovely free feeling to being able to roam the property and gardens. It has wonderful charm and one of few buildings which has a sea view. We swam a few meters away from steps leading down into the sea water; ate and sipped drinks on the balcony; sat amongst the roses in the garden; read and browsed photographic book oks in the lounge. Breakfast and our host was lively and helpful. This is one of the great island stays of the world and you need to appreciate the creaking floorboards and walk down the hall to a shared bathroom. We are in love with this place.
