The Continental Hotel Broome
8/10 Good
"The room was large, very clean and nice and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately, there was 3 air conditioning systems going non -stop right next to our sliding door, and the fridge in the room was very noisy. The light switches were unnecessary complicated. The staff were very nice and helpful. I guess the worst thing was the swimming pool times: 8am to 6pm. These are ridiculous times in a hot climate, but on top of that, the first day, we turned up just after 8 am and it was still not open,. When we came back in the evening, tired and sweaty at 5:50 it was already locked. We arrived on a Sunday and had a meal at the restaurant which was inedible and expensive. I think all these problems could be easily remedied with a bit of good will."

"The bathroom soaps etc did not include body lotion which is now standard in good hotels. Room design had issues with bedside table half blocking bathroom entrance. But rest of stay was perfect."
