He set up our airport transfers and even accommodated us with early check in and late check out! The condo is in a super safe area and was nice to have a guard downstairs if needed. The apartment is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood with many options around to eat. Two great cafes and places to have dinner. The building is top quality with 24 hr security guard and is maintained extremely clean with the help of the wonderfully friendly staff . This apartment is our go-to whenever we visit Quito. We’ve already booked it for February. Santiago, the manager, responds to messages via WhatsApp in minutes. Also, the views from the 5th floor pool and hot tub are breathless. The gym provides all the necessities for a workout. Apartment provides everything you need. I highly recommend this apartment next time you’re in Quito. ##### Robert S. The apartment is roomy and clean with views of the Quito mountains and El Panecillo. Sergio, the owner, provides everything you need for a relaxing stay. The building is kept meticulously clean and you feel safe with the 24 hour security guard at the front desk and another one at the garage entrance. The building provides a gym, sauna, steam room, hot tub and outdoor pool on the 5th floor with breathtaking views of Quito.The building is surrounded by great restaurants and delicious bakeries, our favorite was Cyrano and Cafe Europa. You're a walking distance from many great restaurants and 20 minute walk to the Carolina Park - which is well lit and great for a morning jog. Santigo, the property manager, is friendly and very helpful. Even though we arrived later in the evening around 10 pm, Santiago (our host) was there to greet us and give us a tour of the apartment and the facilities. The apartment was beautiful and very welcoming with fresh flowers on the dining room table. Santiago was very helpful in organizing our airport transfer both from and to the airport for our departing flight. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, foil paper, celaphane and napkins. There were plenty of cleaning products and garbage bags. The appliances were modern and worked very well.The bedrooms were spacious with very comfy beds. There was a generous number of towels and extra sheets and blankets. Off of the kitchen, there is a full laundryroom and again laundry soap and drier sheets were there for our use.The livingroom and diningroom were spacious and comfortable with ample seating for six people.The principle bedroom, kitchen and livingroom had a lovely balcony for morning coffee or evening wine. The view of the surrounding mountains was beautiful.On the fifth floor, the pool and hottubs were great after a day of being out on the town. Overall, our host did not skip on any creature comforts to make this the best stay. Everything was clean and tidy inside the apartment. There are two mini markets within a block, an excellent café/bakery and a pizza restaurant across the street. Taxis are easy to find in front of the building and very reasonable for travelling around the city. The apartment is modern, clean and very comfortable - especially the beds. The owner arranged for a pick up on arrival at Quito airport and later for a van and driver for a day of sightseeing in Otavalo and surrounding area. Our family of 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 6-11) stayed here and it was perfect! Plenty of space, 2 balconies with views of Quito, heated pool, gym and saunas one floor up, and 24/7 security guard on first floor. 2 parking spaces available to use. Location was perfect, felt very safe and walkable to shops and restaurants. Apartment had plenty of towels including ones for the pool, blankets, fans if needed and the kitchen was stocked. Conveniently has water/dryer so less packing needed. Sergio and Santiago welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. The apt was spacious, impeccable, and it had all the amenities you needed for a home away from home. We had regular communication with Sergio and the property manager, Santiago, and they were always responsive and willing to assist with any questions we had. We enjoyed access to the beautiful rooftop, pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, etc. The building has a doorman who was also very attentive and helpful. My husband and I and our two children (ages 6 and 2) just returned from our second awesome stay in Sergio's apartment. We just love it and plan to stay here on our future trips to Quito. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. We especially love the heated pool and hot tubs with the gorgeous views of the city. The kitchen is well equipped, the washer, dryer and dishwasher are all great to have. It has a nice floor plan and is spread out enough, so sleeping/napping children are far enough from the living area. The internet and US phone line make it easy to stay connected. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood with nice restaurants nearby. When we arrived, Santiago was waiting for us in front the building. Then he showed us the way to the apartment. The apartment is spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The only problem was the hot water. Although we arrived quite late, Sergio helped us arrange a driver from the airport and got us settled in. The apartment had all the amenities one would need (although if you need to make local phone calls, it's a bit complicated to figure out the phone system). The wifi worked well. The beds were the most comfortable that I've ever slept on. Although there's not a lot of contact with the hosts, it's easy to find places to eat. The El Espanol across the street is a good place for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The view is also really nice. ##### Aimee S. The 3 bedrooms easily accommodated 6 people while the seventh person slept on a sofa sleeper. The beds were comfortable; the 4 bathrooms more than met our needs; the Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of closet space. It was exactly as described. What struck us most was how responsive Sergio was right from the outset. He answered all the questions we had including some trip advice! His driver Ivan worked out very well for us for the airport transfers as well as for a day trip outside Quito. We highly recommend this apartment and the entire team: Sergio, Carmen and Ivan. Feb 11, 2014 #### Perfect Spot in Quito I highly recommend this apartment! It is spacious, quiet, comfortable, well-stocked, and immaculate. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop pool and jacuzzi. It is located in a quiet and safe Quito neighborhood with restaurants, bakeries and a little market two doors down. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of hot water, towels, kitchen equipment and even laundry soap. Quick and cheap taxi rides take you anywhere in the city. Best of all, Sergio is a terrific host. He communicates quickly and efficiently via email. Very professional. He also recommended a driver for us, Victor, who became our reliable and excellent source of information on Ecuador. He introduced us, not only to the sights of Ecuador, but also to the food. Jun 28, 2014 #### GRACIOUS HOST & QUALITY ACCOMMODATION FOR FAMILIES My family of three along with my sister and brother in-law recently spent nine days in Sergio’s condo. Two separate stays before and after our trip to Galapagos. The apartment was exactly what we expected and more. The location was excellent for us, it had easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and activities. The amenities; Wi-Fi, laundry and other facilities were clean, functioning and exactly as described by the owner. We relied on Sergio’s help to coordinate our airport transportation several times during our stay. Even with some flight delays and multiple arrival times at inconvenient hours of the night, both Carmen and Sergio stayed connected and engaged with us to assure that we were taken care of. From the initial inquiry until end of our stays, Sergio has been extremely responsive, and available to answer every question we had. Everyone we interacted with at this apartment was very gracious, reliable and made us feel very comfortable, safe and welcome. We are more than happy to recommend Sergio’s condominium to all types of families. Feb 12, 2018 #### Best Place to stay in Quito This beautiful 3 bedroom/3.5 bath apartment located on the forth floor was a perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter in Quito. As it was our first time visiting South America this property had all the comforts of home. It is located in very clean, upscale and quiet part of Quito unlike most hotels in town. There is a little market next door with bottled water and food items. We visited frequently during out stay. There are also several nice restaurants within a few blocks and a coffee shop across the street. Sergio and his sister, Carmen, have thought over EVERY DETAIL in stocking the apartment. Such as night lights, coffee, tea, spices, paper towels, napkins, laundry detergent, space heaters (most accommodations in Quito do not have heat which we actually did not need) and fully stocked kitchen. You can flush the toilet paper which is rare in Ecuador. The apartment is a split plan in which you enter into a foyer (half bath to right) with a dining room and living room straight ahead. The kitchen, laundry room, a full bath and eat in kitchen are to the left and the three bedrooms and sitting area with the TV are on the right. The master bedroom has a large walk through closet into the master bath which has a shower/tub and amble counter space. There is another full bathroom with a step in shower between the two other bedrooms. There are two long balconies off the kitchen/LR and the master, both of which have a table and chairs and amazing views. We really enjoyed the workout room, two jacuzzis, sauna, steam room and pool located on the fifth floor with beautiful views of which get the afternoon sun. The building is beautiful with a large marble entrance with fob key to get in and a desk with very friendly and helpful 24 hour guards. One went out of his way to get a taxi for us. Carmen and Sergio could not have been nicer. We got a free airport pick up with our stay of five days (this runs about $25 as we payed to get back to airport on our departure). They also extended our stay as requested as were so pleased with the accommodations. If we ever get to Quito again we will be staying here, our new home away from home, in South American. ##### Kathy B.
