Our only disappointing event was dinner at the restaurant. It was so hot that one of our party could not stay for dinner and the fish on one of the dinners was spoilt.
We stayed here for 4 nights and we saw more mammals and birds than the Manual Antonio NP tour. The howler monkeys were outside of our room. Everyone shared the locations of the sloths on site every day. Lots of birds. Beautiful pools to cool off. We stayed in the villa with access to the adult pool. We love the view and had a great time. Only downside is the onsite restaurants are really lacking. They told us to make reservations for dinner and have the impression the food is good. The sushi restaurant was terrible. The main restaurant made decent snacks. We managed to get Uber (long wait and they cancelled frequently) and connected with a local taxi driver. We still think it’s a great property. Thank you.
Parador Nature Resort is set in the jungle with the ocean near. We saw sloths, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, toucans,
Iguanas and many bird species.
It was a treat to see them so close. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, too. A beautiful resort!
It was good. The workers
We’re not as polite as other areas in hotels we visited. Food was great. Rooms were great. Kid family friendly shuttle to beach and
I loved how the resort is in the jungle and works hard at making sure the resort works with its surroundings and doesn’t destroy the environment to make way for tourists. This place was clean, friendly, helpful staff and wildlife everywhere. Excellent stay!!
Parador Nature Resort Manuel Antonio is a tranquil oasis nestled in Costa Rica's lush landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and easy access to Manuel Antonio National Park. The accommodations are luxurious yet seamlessly blend with nature, providing a serene setting for relaxation. The diverse dining options, guided nature activities, and impeccable service elevate the experience, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful and immersive escape into Costa Rica's natural beauty.
We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Parador. Our goal was to see wildlife in their natural environment, and we were not disappointed. We saw a variety each day of our stay, including three species of monkeys, sloths, an anteater, and iguanas. Every staff member was very friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job of making us happy. Excellent stay! We will return to this resort on our next trip to Costa Rica.
Resort is excellent !! Breakfast, food, bar all good !! I booked this resort hoping that it is on the beach, but it is not and no direct beach access. To get to beach, shuttle can you take you 2 minute ride and then have to walk down on a steep downhill trail for 5 minutes. And then on return, need to walk back all the way uphill 5 plus 5 minutes on steep uphill. you can request shuttle if you have cell phone access to call.
The property was located on a mountain overlooking the ocean. The room was nice and the staff friendly. The food was terrible and quite pricey. There was at least one mistake with every order except for sushi dinning. For a $400.00 a night vista suite room the place was underwhelming and there were other properties which we would have been happier at.
I absolutely loved this stay. The amenities were fantastic, service was great, and the resort grounds were lovely. The only con was that the room was dated and the “jungle view” was just a chain link fence with jungle behind it.
We have been coming to Hotel Parador for many years! Great hotel, lots of amenities but not a big hotel chain. Close to beach and marina. Highly recommend!

Our family of 5 (3 generations) spent a week at the Parador after Christmas. It was more than I usually spend, but so worth it. The rooms and grounds were beautiful and the staff was so helpful and competent. We took advantage of several guided nature tours as well as a Mercado tour in nearby Quepos. We were immersed in the natural beauty of the rainforest. The main dining room offered delicious options with a breakfast buffet included in our room price. The hotel put on a delightful New Year’s Eve party with live music, dance performers and a huge buffet -again, included with our room price. I highly recommend the Parador for a family getaway splurge.
A great spot for some r and r - great service and a great location

Beautiful location surrounded by lush wildlife. The hotel is very nice and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom seems to have sacrificed function for appearance. The shower is only partially covered making it very challenging to have a proper shower without water getting outside the shower area. We really enjoyed the short walk to Biesanz beach from the hotel. Overall a very good hotel, with just in need of a few minor updates to facilities.
We loved this property! We got to see several types of monkeys and sloths right at the hotel. We also loved the iguanas and macaws as well. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had great service. We were there during the rainy season, so it was more quiet than peak season. We absolutely loved it! It was a good base location for doing adventures as well. We did a tour in Manuel Antonio National Park and a whale tour in Uvita. We will for sure be back here again!
Absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Manuel Antonio. The pools were excellent, the dining was way better than we imagined, and we loved having a gym, spa, tennis courts, jacuzzi, and mini golf on site. The staff and service were excellent. Added bonus was seeing sloths, monkeys, and other animals on the property! Definitely will be back!
We loved Parador. I especially loved that there were adult only areas. For people who don't have kids, that is a very awesome bonus! Our view was incredible. The food at the restaurant was delicious! The monkey trail was a fun little trail to walk. We saw monkeys and sloths.
What can I say! This place has everything. I came to Costa Rica looking to rest and unwind and I did it. Parador staff made everything they could to help do that and they over did it. John at Galleria would always greet us with a warm smile as if he knew us and that was nice. Clara at the pool bar was always ready to answer questions. We came in and immediately were upgraded to ocean view because we were staying 6 nights. That was just the begining. I came with the idea to propose to my girlfriend and I had no idea how to. I spoke to guest relations and they took the initiative. They planned everything and ran it by me for appraval. Geraldyn went above and beyond. As a gift they gave us the pacifica suite with a breathtaking view. The day of, they had reserved La Cava for us, with Kenner as our dedicated waiter. They decorated everything with candles and a very special dinner. I spoke to the chef as well he did an amazing chocolate spehere and put the ring in there. It was amazing. Everything was perfect. But what made it better was how they
Decorated the room. By the way all of this as a gift. We did not pay a penny. Food is delicious and the dessert are amazing. Overall the service is outstanding and the stay was 10 out of 10. Even as we were leaving they approach us to wish good luck and congratulate us. The Fiancee was beyond happy. Make sure you do horse back riding with Don Geronimo, ADR Adventure Park with Maykol’s team and Manuel Antonio National Park with Elias.
Our room was on the top floor and we arrived at sunset and wow was it spectacular! The view was amazing! Beautiful property with 4 pools. A “monkey trail” to hike and a swim up bar! Food on property was delicious. Huge buffet breakfast. Transportation in to town was greatly appreciated. Fabian helped us set up a
Tour and was very friendly and offered excellent customer service. Remembered my name after first day! John at breakfast was friendly and kind. In fact all staff were so good! We saw so much wildlife on property! Monkeys, a sloth, raccoons and macaws along with other birds. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations.
This hotel is outstanding. The property itself, the grounds, the wildlife, the staff, the views - it is all amazing. The staff are highly attentive, extremely professional, and very pleasant. We ate dinner all 3 nights and it was extremely good. Top notch resort, I highly recommend it!
