Very Clean & Spacious
This is a lovely place to stay for a trip to Queenstown. It is a bit of a walk into the town centre and quite a hill to walk back to, so we used the car. We stayed in the Studio. The bed is very comfortable. The bedroom/lounge is very large. There is a microwave and fridge and tea and coffee. The bathroom looks like it has recently been put in as it is of the highest quality. Sue the owner was most welcoming and ensured we had all we required. We do recommend this accommodation. The only 2 thing that could improve it is if it had a view over Queenstown as there is not much of a view and also if there was a small sink in the food area as it is a bit odd using the bathroom facilities to wash kitchen items but overall a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Under The Studio it does detail views are liimited and no breakfast. On sending guests their access information the limited view and the fact breakfast is not included is drawn to their attention. We certainly do not wish to mislead people interested in making a reservation.

when booking the room it was advertised with lake views and had photos which shown the same, there was no view as was advertised, the establishment is called a B & B but doesn't serve any breakfast, travelers beware don't book the studio room for the view.

Perfect place to stay
Really good air bnb style place, comfy bed, spacious room, great bathroom, really clean and perfect for our stay, parking, and an easy 20 min walk into queenstown (up a big big hill on the way back but not a big issue!). Also note not actually a bnb as no breakfast!

Renter beware
Pros: Rental was very clean amd is in a good location. Cons: Be aware...the owner has the same 38 pictures on all 3 of her rentals on this property. The pictures DO NOT represent 2 of the 3 rentals. You have NO WAY of knowing this when you rent. Also, in the studio, and dishes you use have to be washed in the bathroom sink. This should NOT be categorized as a B&B as there is no breakfast offered. When the owner was asked why the pictures were not representative of the rental as I thought she gave us the wrong rental, she was rude. I even showed her the email information I received. She also told me that she was going to email me to let me know, but my email wasn't available throught the rental site, but my email is, it has to be to have the rental confirmed.

Great place to stay!
This is a wonderful, convenient, comfortable studio apartment! It truly felt like a home away from home as I explored Queenstown, with lots of little touches to make it special and plenty of privacy.

Studio with comfort plus
We were very happy with our choice of place to stay. The comfort was exceptional, the bedroom and bathroom were very well appointed and the location was great. While the walk into town (or more accurately the walk back up the hill on our return) took a little longer than expected it was great to get some exercise following all our wining and dining. The snippets of view from the windows were enough to remind us where we were so we could enjoy the mountains, lake and Autumn trees while very snug in comfort. I would have no hesitation recommending this accommodation to others or staying here on another trip to Queenstown.

This is a very good B & B quite near to town. The only downside is, as the name implies, it's a steep walk up from the CBD.

The quite stunning view of the lake & peninsular golf course is the first thing to hit you as you enter the property. The sitting room has large sliding doors onto a balcony but the view from inside is just as good. We had a good sized room with en suite, & doors to the rear patio where we could enjoy sitting in the late afternoon sun after a day sightseeing. The B&B is about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Queenstown, with some hills to combat on the return but it wasn't a problem for us. Attention to detail is very apparent here, from Egyptian cotton towels to linen tablecloth & napkins at the breakfast table. Breakfast is continental with home made muesli, croissant, toast etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent view of Lake Wakatipu!
The Lakeview bedroom provides a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains and lake Wakatipu. Guests can also view from the balcony as the B & B is strategically located on the hill. It takes between 15-20 mins to walk to the town ctr but coming back suggest take a taxi due to the steep uphill. Cost abt NZD$10. The host Sue is gracious & prepares healthy b'fast of cereals, muesli, yoghurt, croissant, bread & fresh fruits. However do take note the b'fast is the same everyday so if you're staying longer you will find the same b'fast boring. A word of caution to tourists who self-drive - do install your rental vehicle with a camera cos it takes just one irate crazy Kiwi driver who isn't happy with your driving and will call the NZ police who will promptly trail your vehicle, confiscate it & issue you with a fine. Installing the vehicle camera will help you to dispute the complaints because the NZ police usually could not provide evidence if you break any law and will not listen to your reasons at all.

Pleasant but not exactly cheap.
Pleasant stay if a little expensive. A clean room which is a tad compact, however there is the guest lounge which you get to share with other guests which is spacious and has a balcony with a view over the lake. Not quite sure on the arrangement, the host was rarely on site other than for breakfast, it's not clear if she lives elsewhere or downstairs. I could no doubt have contacted her via phone in emergency, but one of the advantages of a B&B is you normally get useful information from the host on arrival, which was missing this time. On the hill is an accurate description of this B&B, many will want to drive into Queenstown, however we walked both nights and although it is a bit of a climb on the way back, I don't regard it as excessive for someone of moderate fitness, I guess it took around 30mins walking. I feel the accommodation is a little expensive compared with what I paid elsewhere, this may be a Queenstown premium.

Stayed for 17 nights, home from home, Sue couldn't make us any more welcome. Breakfast lush especially Sue's own made toasted muesli and I don't normally do breakfast. Sue has loads of ideas and recommendations about stuff to do in the area. Major plus is the view WOW you just can't stop looking at it, high above the lake with views of the mountains aswell. Would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely loved every minute of it. Sue is an exceptional hostess. The B&B location was superb and with breathtaking views out of the Lakeview room and the guest lounge. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay indeed. Couldn't wish for anything better.

Nice b&b with beautiful views over queenstown. Short walk down hill to the centre. We came in winter so enjoyed the snow and activities queenstown has to offer. This place is perfect for families and couples

Small B&B with a great view
Only two guest rooms ( en suite) on the main floor. (Understand there is a larger area for families downstairs but did not see this area) Full access to living room area and balcony. Amazing view of the lake and mountains. The town is close enough to walk to. Uphill on the way home but doable. Queenstown is a great active city.

A lovely place to stay in Queenstown
This was an amazing place to stay, it was a beautiful flat with stunning views across the lake and mountains. Staying here made the last four days of our holiday in New Zealand very special and we would definitely like to come back. Queenstown is a great place so much to see and do, we found everyone so helpful and all the things we did were first class.

Great hostess and well appointed room. Continental breakfast eaten overlooking the lake - great way to start the day. Two rooms, one with a lake view. Had the non lake one and if I stayed again would definitely chose the one with the lake view. As well as the view, It is not overlooked and away from road noise. Lovely place to stay if you have a car. I did not and while it was reasonably close to the town centre, the walk back up a very steep hill put me off going more than once a day.

Everything about B and B on the Hill met my expectation ..and more! Firstly the view... Breathtaking.Secondly, the room... Book the Lakeview Room even if it is more expensive than the other one...it is worth it! Thirdly, the king bed draped with Egyptian cotton bedding so warm and comfortable....all this, combined with Sue s outstanding Continental breakfasts and warm hospitality make this place top on my list!
