Architecturally designed, meticulously thought-out and maintained, close enough to the historic charms of Arrowtown, and far enough away to enjoy the almost exclusive privacy, and tranquil environs. We will return to this special accommodation and location.

A great place to stay in Arrowtown
It was a great stay. The owner gave us a free upgrade for a night as it had become available. The room was amazing! We then moved to our originally booked room for the 2nd night which was also really good. The views from the entire place was fantastic! And very convenient location to the main strip of arrowtown as well.

Wow! what a great location, So close to Arrowtown, but so secluded and quiet. Arrowtown is a hidden gem and still so convenient to Queenstown.

Go on spoil yourself
If you want to spoil yourself this is the place to do so. Beautifully appointed with high quality finishes is just a small part of this accommodation. The views out the floor to ceiling wall to wall windows is amazing and so well done that you are not overlooked by the other apartments. A short 10min stroll along a path, which follows beside the fast flowing creek, leads you into picturesque Arrowtown. My husband and I highly recommend the Arrow private hotel. Go on, spoil yourself you won't regret it.

Quality Hotel. The best ever.!
This privately owned hotel was excellent. Clean, modern and excellent in everyway. Continental breakfast delivered to your door was the best we have ever had and extremely reasonably priced.

True, your suite you chose is the most basic and by far the cheapest. The other suites (by spending a bit more) have full kitchen including dishwasher, personal carport, double vanity and double shower and more...

The Arrow is a charming hotel in beautiful and quiet surroundings within walking distance to Arrowtown. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful and the suites are light and airy with beautiful views of the tree-covered hills.

We had the most comfortable stay at The Arrow Hotel. The service was welcoming, facilities were excellent and location was a walking distance to the Main street. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in the Cherry Suite. The bath and shower were incredible and the little touches like under floor heating and hot water bottles really made it feel like a lovely place for a winter getaway

I had high expectations for this place based on others' reviews, but those expectations were exceeded. From the moment we arrived till the moment we (sadly!) left, it was the most idyllic 2 night stay one could wish for. We stay in a lot of hotels, and so I feel I am well qualified to make the following observations: 1) One litre of fresh milk in the full sized fridge. I can't stand those nasty little pottles of milk that most hotels provide, they never provide enough and the waste that they create is horrendous. 2) A coffee pod machine. JOY!!! And upon noticing that we used all of the pods provided on the first day they supplied extras for the second day. Really nice touch, 3)A proper 4 burner hot-plate. Not that we used all 4 elements but it was nice to know that we could if we chose to. 4) A washing machine and dryer to use at no cost. After being on the road for nearly a week we needed to do some laundry and I have always preferred to do my own. I would have been happy to use a coin laundry but to allow use at no cost is a lovely gesture. 5) We were tired of rich restaurant food and takeaways, we really felt like a good steak cooked on the BBQ with a simple salad. The lovely owner allowed us to use his own BBQ to do this. I was so grateful! (We could have used the frying pan on an element in our room, but BBQ'd steak is preferable). 6) The lovely stream-side walk into town, it's so picturesque and serene. 7) The underfloor heating in the bathroom - even

Nice option close to town. Tidy, modern elevated units. Super friendly and helpful hosts. One thing: recommend the hotel clean spare duvets stored in cupboards, our spare wasn’t clean.

We really enjoyed our time at the Arrow Hotel, it is of a very high standard and in a very secluded position near the Arrow River, a perfect getaway! Being a 5 minute walk to Arrowtown, is a bonus, and we highly recommend this property
