Perfect spacious holiday home for smaller groups up to 5 guests ; children & infants Welcome, (infants under 3yrs are free, just advise us for bedding , porta cot etc. ). The spacious air conditioned lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen make for easy entertaining while the bedrooms are large enough to unpack the suitcases. Private off street secure parking with gates secures your privacy. This property is on the base of Queenstown Hill, it commands great views, and if walking down into town requires a bit of energy to return however the effort is worth the proximity, location & views. This gets easier the longer you stay and burns off those growing unwanted calories. If using a vehicle this isn't an issue and the choice is yours. For the ski season, only 5 minutes walk to ski shuttles. A drying rack & dehumidifier is included in the laundry to ensure ski clothing is dry and warm before heading for the slopes as well as combination washer drier and outside cloths line to keep things fresh & clean when needed. The tiled floor in the hallway to bathroom and laundry has underfloor heating in winter and well as bedroom wall heating and electric blankets making your stay comfortable. Easy walking distance to Queenstown's best walking/running tracks (Queenstown Hill, Queenstown Gardens etc). Although one bathroom with shower and vanity, the toilet is a separate room to provide privacy and convenience as well as having a second vanity. Commercial Linen and Exit Clean is provided within the nightly rate. Highchair and Port-a-cot provided on request. Reid was great to deal with and is a very helpful host. We were a skiing group. There are good facilities for drying clothes after a big day. Off street car parking was no dramas. Nice seating area outside and beautiful view of lake and mountains. Very short walk to town. Last bit of walk is a steep hill, but do not let that discourage you! Most places are on steep hills but this one is very close to Queenstown, where all the action is . Bonus, you have a place to put your car!! Parking is difficult in Queenstown. Very steep, though reasonably short walk uphill from town, but the location is great - close to everything. The property had a surprisingly huge kitchen, dining, linge area which was perfect for Xmas when a few friends visited - so spacious and white the slider doors open to view the lake and parasailers...it was majic.! The place was clean and well equipped. There was a folder full of instructions as to how everything worked which was great. The location was fabulous and the views spectacular but the hill the property is on is a killer to walk up - especially with the shopping. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Kay C. The location is perfect for everything. We walked downtown, to the botanical gardens, to the TS Earnslaw dock, to the gondola, up the Tiki Trail, to Fergburger, to the grocery store and several favorite restaurants. It's also a short 3 mile drive to the famous Shotover jetboats. We especially love the outdoor grilling area with a table and chairs, where we enjoyed many of our mills. The kitchen window makes for a perfect pass-through while grilling outside, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Great communication with the owner before our stay. I'm sure he would have been available if we needed him, but with a perfectly clean unit and no problems, we simply didn't need to get in touch.
