"There was a long line at the front desk, but I download the app and started the mobile check in. After a few minutes, a kiosk opened up and we completed the check in fairly quickly and easily. We were surprised when we got to the room. I had reserved a non-smoking standard king bed facing the Bellagio fountains, and we were apparently upgraded to a suite. The room was huge. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The bedroom TV remote was missing but not a big deal, we were too tired to watch. We did call the front desk to let them know, just so they didn’t charge us for it. Some of the furniture was starting to look a little worn and chipped. The location of the hotel and view of the Eiffel Tower and strip were great, however the windows were dirty. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or eat at the restaurants, but we’ll definitely plan on another stay. "

"If you book through a third party, Hotels.com or Expedia, they will treat you as a third rate citizen! I was there trying to compete to qualify for the National Horse Racing contest. If I qualified, part of the prize was also a 4 night stay at the hotel. I qualified. I was added to the master list but was still locked out of the room which I had paid for. It overlapped my paid reservation so I wouldn’t have to change rooms. It was a nightmare dealing with the Front Desk people. I had to pay first as they kept telling me I booked with a third party and they hadn’t heard from the contest people. That was just to let me back into my room where all of my stuff was. It was a nightmare again after it was straightened out and WAS NOT given a refund for the 1 night that overlapped. So Horseshoe was paid twice for 1 night! They would not relent because I made the reservation through a third party! What a ripoff. "
