Comfy (even the sleeping nook in the lounge, wonderful nights sleep had there!), well-equipped (everything you could need in the kitchen) and well-positioned to get to various corners of Vermont. The only downside is that the listing had ‘pool’ and other leisure facilities listed. These are over a mile away AND you have to pay to access them; this, to my mind, does not equate to the property having them. Just because there’s a private pool near...

"I am a minister on sabbatical and my wife and I took a few days to stay on this property. Very peaceful and beautiful as well as scenic. Had a great time. The only drawback to the area is the lack of good restaurant choices during peak season. It was nearly impossible to find a place to eat that was an elegant setting with upscale food."

The location was perfect within easy reach of Woodstock and the house was beautifully decorated, warm comfortable and spacious. However, we called service # on our confirm and they provided us a lockbox code for a key in less than 5 min so not an issue. "
