Great location but lacks value for dollar

Excellent location for walking Old Quebec. Great bilingual staff, friendly and helpful. Expensive for a 2 star hotel but the reason is the location. Charming but very basic.

Old and dated. The room was so small that there wasn't much room to navigate around the double bed. If you used the folding luggage rack, you couldn't open the door to get out. The bathroom was long and very narrow. The floor creeked when walking on it. The bed was hard, uncomfortable and the frame noisy... basically a lousy sleep

Faces the St. Lawrence River and also a park, within walking distance to all attractions in Old Quebec. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room, tho small was clean. The only problem was some broken floor tile in the bathroom and the bathroom sink was not very well bolted to the vanity, but the owners are going to start a complete renovations of the hotel, plus add on additional features. We are planning on staying there again after they reopen.
