"Very convenient location"
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. Walking distance to stores, and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. I have now stayed there twice, and will stay again in the future.

"2nd Stay During Carnaval - NO Disappointments!"
The privacy and quiet demeanor of this hotel is unparalleled. My wife and I came to Old Quebec with another couple to attend Carnaval. To be sure, our 2nd visit to this hotel, thanks to the thoughtful recommendations, location, and helpfulness of the staff at Manoir Sur le Cap, was again nothing short of spectacular. I knew we would not enjoy the usual hustle and bustle of a large hotel like Le Château Frontenac (which we have stayed at before) with it's usual large population of unsupervised children and sports teams constantly running amuck in the lobby and hallways. Manoir Sur le Cap is truly in an ideal location. Our shared room was spotless again, which I knew would be very important to my wife, and even with the new SPREAD-OUT format for Carnaval, we were comfy and cozy when we returned everyday. Again, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Manoir Sur Le Cap with my spouse or friends for a future Carnaval. The walk through Old Quebec in winter is something that can be challenging, but with a little careful planning, we enjoyed our snowy trip.

"Comfortable at a reasonable cost"
Hotel was close to a number of restaurants so that made it convenient. The hot tub should have been hotter!! The price was right and it was a pretty decent place to stay. If you have kids the pool is a nice feature, but too noisy to stay there for reading a book.

"Noise from adjoining rooms is a deal-breaker"
Shower was good, ambient temperature was good but not controllable, decor was modern, internet fast. However, the construction of the building is such that you can hear your neighbours even if they are not creating excessive noise. I don't imagine that there are concrete walls between rooms. Hallway floors are also not concrete, so you can hear people walking in the hallway. Unfortunately, the ventilation is not controllable in the room, so you cannot turn on the fan to create white noise. It's too bad, but for me a quiet room is non-negotiable. For all other criteria I would rank the hotel highly.
