"Great hotel for the price"
We had a great time in this hotel. A young employee at the check-in desk spent a LOT of time with us telling us things to see and do in Quebec, gave us great advice on how to get to Old Quebec and where to park. The rooms were lovely and the so-called continental breakfast was vast, although there was very little protein. A hard-boiled egg wouldn't go amiss. I do have one small negative comment and it's about the restaurant, not the hotel. We had dinner there one night (five course French style dinner). The waitress that took our order did not deliver our meal. The waiter that did kept getting things mixed up, gave parts of our meal to others that had arrived after us (gave my travel partner her course and gave mine to someone else), then forgot about us between courses. This was the only negative thing about our whole three-day stay.

"Happy experience in general - useful location"
The room was nice - spacious, good view, comfy bed, a seat to lounge on, fridge etc. The airconditioner was loud but I dont like aircon so I turned it off and it didnt annoy me. If I did need it on it would have disturbed me. There is no natural ventilation so the room smelt a bit like a locker room after a few days when I first got in at night. When I arrived the bed was made badly and I had to remake it late at night with jet lag. The bottom sheet stopped about 1 foot from the end of the bed leaving my feet touching the underlay. That's a housekeeping fail.

"Mostly a good experience in a very good location."
For the most part things were fine, but we did have some issues. The second night there the air conditioning unit, even when set to off, whistled like a tea kettle for hours on end. They did fix it and we had no other bad nights. The Valet service was very unorganized. They say call 5 or 10 minutes before you need your car. But numerous times no one picked up there so it bounced to the front desk. You tell them no one is picking up at Valet and they transfer you right back to Valet, where no one picks up again and you go back to the front desk... On the last day there was no valet service as they were on strike and we were only told this when we turned up to get our car. They told us we had to take our bags into the garage where they park the cars ourselves.

"Pleasant surprise"
Very welcoming environment despite small lobby area. Staff were very helpful. Good amenities including hot tub, great view across the golf course, spa, gym. The hotel was built with a spa and relaxation in mind. Room was as expected. Only downfall was no microwave. Restaurant had some good menu. Free shuttle to old quebec which was a pleasant surprise.
