Lovely small hotel. Great location for the tourist areas. Staff was helpful and friendly, if a bit slow in the smaller restaurant.

"Great little getaway!"
The hotel was great, paid parking available just down the road near the water (come and go as you please during your stay), near the great restaurants and shops of Old Quebec. Quiet street during the night and great staff.

"Great location in old quebec "
Got upgraded so that was great! Hotel staff was great. No elevators but that wasn't a problem for us. Staff helps you with your luggage up and down. Room was clean. Location was great. They still have the really hot or really cold water issue in the bathroom. Breakfast was great in the restaurant. Would stay here again.

Everything was great except the hotel walls. Too thin. This amounted to noise from neighboring suits and the pub music down stairs. Not unbearable though.

Always a pleasure staying here. The warmth of the lobby area, the wonderful breakfasts, attentive staff and location all make for a delightful stay. The onsite parking is also a big plus.

"excellent location. "
Modern hotel and really comfy rooms and the bed, wow! Our room didn't have a bath which would have been nice for those aching feet and legs. The staff and really nice and nothing is too much trouble. The dining area and reception are extensively wood and could do with a freshen up but don't let this put you off. The sister hotel has a restaurant for evening meals. We didn't bother as there are loads of choices around. A short walk around the corner leads you onto the lower street which are pretty. A quick ride up the funicular leads street outside the Hotel Frontenac. The old town is very charming but plan your days. We hired a car which was a cheap as anything and it had sat nav. Petrol is cheap and the roads North away from Quebec are a real drivers treat, especially around St Irenee.

"Coolest Hotel I've Ever Stayed In..."
Definitely one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. The hotel itself is gorgeous and so unique. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you want and need. They make staying in an ice fortress comfortable and fun. We enjoyed the snowshoeing trails behind the hotel, the hot tubs, the ice bar, ice carving activities, and just looking at all the beautiful and intricate decorations in the hotel. We ended up paying extra to upgrade to a decorated room with a fireplace and loved staying in our castle in the Nedland room. We felt like Lady and Lord Stark of Winterfell, which we loved even more. The whole experience was amazing and definitely something to cross off our bucket lists and to remember forever.
