Basically quiet at night. Not many services are offered so I would recommend for a short stay. Although you'll find plenty of services at a short walk distance. Food and drink. I don't know if they offer clothes washing though. Its simple, and our 3rd floor room was spacious with vaulted celings. There are no elevators, no real services other than a Kuerig in the room. It was clean. TV was tiny and the soaking tub was nice. The staff although nice, could learn to smile and say hello though.... Walking distance to every thing food, shopping and sights! The city is extremely clean and all the buildings surrounding are well maintained. The people working and serving are very pleasant and speak both French and English. It faces a lovely little park and has a view of the famous Chateau Frontenac. It is quiet, a few blocks away from the busy tourist streets but very close to. the river walk. . And there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The hotel is old and the rooms have character but ours was small with not much room for luggage, toiletries etc. The bathroom was surprisingly modern and nice. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. It was a good central location in the old Quebec area I wanted to explore. A walkable location for history, restaurants and shopping.
