Checking into our room we made reservations for breakfast the next morning. Our waitress served us coffee and then appeared to have ghosted us after she realized we could not speak french. Despite our best efforts to get someone’s attention to order breakfast, no one acknowledged us. We left frustrated after about 20 minutes. The restaurant was only half full.

Unfortunately it isnsurrounded by constriction but they cant help that. Everything else was great. Front desk staff was very nice.

Clean nice hotel with great staff. Thankful to team member Vialy for resolving some issues promptly! Though there were a couple of issues:
1) The bathroom fans did not work. The bathroom door for our unit was a sliding door and didn't even close fully shut. Front desk staff member Vialy was super helpful though, and moved us to another room that at least had a normal hinged door that sealed shut. They told us the next day that the fans turn off at 9, while the issue for us was at ~7 pm when we checked in.
2) There is a super large construction site on Av. des-Hôtels from Aquarium-du-Québec all the way to the hotel, that is not disclosed nor is it visible on Google Maps satellite view. May be important for others especially for safety reasons and room views.

Les photos représentent bien la chambre, c’est confortable et propre. Toutefois, l’attente à la réception est long, la préposée est absente et prend plus de 5 minutes avant de revenir. De plus, j’ai eu l’impression de la déranger.

First of all, the Sepia Hotel was great in terms of cleanliness and quietness. On the other hand, the service at the front desk (reception) was a bad experience on the check-out day because when the time of the check-out came I was trying to call them 3 times exactly to do a late check out like any other hotel cuz I have to finish my zoom meeting but they weren't answering the phone, then 23 mins after calling me back and said sorry for reaching you late but now you have to pay for the late check-out cuz it's too late and I go to the lady and said sorry but it is what is even if we didn't answer but u have to pay cuz it's 12:50 PM.

The servers at the restaurant are all men.
The walk to the main entrance was cold and slippery due to the weather.
The Galopin restaurant serves top of the line food.
