In addition to the front desk staff we always saw one or two employees who greeted and assisted guests coming and going. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of choices for both Chinese and western good. I am celiac but had no problems eating a full and satisfying breakfast every morning. I did find the coffee and tea a bit disappointing but then I am very fuzzy with my coffee and tea. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. The towels were as good or better than any deluxe hotels in the States or Europe. We were very pleased with the experience at Quanzhou C&D Hotel. The location was good, along a tree lined boulevard. The staff was very helpful, especially the butler, Ms Mary Lin. We had some issues with the room and she arranged fur us a better room the next morning. The breakfast food selection was huge and the quality good. The high ceiling dining room with huge floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the road intersection was very relaxing. The welcome fruit basket and the milk and biscuit night snack are much appreciated. The only shortcoming is the narrow car entrance and small parking lot sometimes would cause congested. Probably the best hotel I have ever been at. Big and clean room, great service, perfect location and glorious breakfast ! Very cheap for this quality.
