The first room we checked into smelled like pot. We requested to switch rooms, and the staff accommodated our request right away we the same type of room but on the second floor. Thankfully, there was an elevator for our dogs to use since one of them cannot take stairs.
Unfortunately, a double bed room was pretty cramped with having two large dogs as there wasn’t a lot of floor space for them.
The continental breakfast was underwhelming since the only true protein option was yogurt. It would have been nice to have at least some hard boiled eggs even if not instant eggs. I ended up having to buy some breakfast items to supplement what was offered.
The cleaning staff was very nice and resupplied any items I requested.
There was no trash can right outside the front entrance. So, I had to walk towards the enclosed pool to throw away the poop bags we used to clean up after our dogs. There were no signs for others to pick up after their dogs, which I would recommend since this is a dog-friendly hotel, unless we took our dogs to the wrong spot for them to relieve themselves.
Our card keys stopped working periodically the day before our scheduled checkout day. The front desk staff was friendly and gave us new keys when it happened, but it was frustrating especially when I had to go back downstairs after realizing the key didn’t work after taking the doggies out.
This place is okay for a short stay, don’t have large dogs, or don’t mind simple breakfast options.
