« We were in need of a nice, relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we got. There were four of us (me, my husband, my 16-year-old, and my 11-year-old) and we each had our own space. We loved going down to the dock, and there is also a town beach just down the road. The home is filled with fun antiques and reminds you of a clean, well-kept, and charming grandmother’s house. « This was the second time I stayed at this property and really do love it. It is close enough to my family in Ridgefield for me to fee like I am just around the corner, while being in a quiet, peaceful private property. The setup was perfect for myself and my mom, but could also accommodate a larger group. It isn’t a big space, but had everything that we needed. « We had a wonderful Christmas getaway with family at the “Ice Cream Cottage”. It is much more spacious than it looks on the outside.It was clean and had everything we needed. Host was attentive to any questions we had.The fenced in yard was great for our “fur baby” to run around. »

Coming from the flat lands of the midwest, the hills and curves to get to the home (especially in the dark) are something to be aware of. I was glad my husband was driving.
