One of eight cabins at Hollar & Hush — 77 private acres on Fall Creek in the Blue Ridge foothills, minutes off the Parkway. King and queen bedrooms, a loft above, hot tub on the deck, fire pit out front. A short walk to the creek and a woods trail to our own waterfall. Built for two couples or a family who want the tub and the quiet.

The whole property is yours to roam: the creek, the trails, and the waterfall hike. Each cabin has its own fire pit, parking and porch.

Fall Creek runs through the property for about 1,500 feet and we own to the center of the stream. It`s a stocked NC Wildlife hatchery-supported trout water — rainbow, brown and brook — and it`s yours to fish from our side. Wade, fish, or just sit on a rock with a coffee.

Self check-in with a door code sent the afternoon before you arrive. I`m typically on the property and live part of my time in one of the cabins, so if you need anything — a question, a recommendation, something not working — reach out on Airbnb messages and I`ll come sort it. Otherwise I`ll leave you to it.

The hot tub is cleaned and tested before every stay; please keep the cover on when you`re not in it.

Fishing: you`ll need an NC fishing license (buy online takes five minutes). Trout season on this stretch runs from the first Saturday in April through the end of February; the creek is closed to fishing March 1 until opening day while the state stocks it. Limit is seven trout a day. Please stay on our side of the creek — the far bank is private.
