The front gates lead to the covered porch area and private entrance which opens to a large living space with convertible sofa (two twin sized beds). The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with all the essentials including a complimentary margarita bar. The powerful 2-ton inverter air conditioner is located in the bedroom which is furnished with a new pillow top queen sized bed and cotton linens. There is an oversized closet space and dresser for storage and windows that let in great natural light and ventilation. The bathroom with great shower pressure and parota wood finishings is located conveniently across the hall. All the floors throughout the entire casa are tiled and ceiling fans are installed in each room which keeps the space fresh and cool. For guests who work online, the WiFi, provided by TotalPlay, has recently been upgraded to a fiber optic 5G network and the unit has its own booster and private connection- it has been very reliable as compared to other companies in the area. The open front porch area is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is the perfect place for coffee in the morning, al fresco dining in the evening or lounging in the hammock. We are centrally located in Punta de Mita within a block to the beach, stores, rental services, restaurants and shopping. The public transportation that will take you to and from Puerto Vallarta, and the towns in between, is just three short blocks away as well. \*\*Our guests now have exclusive day-pass access to the beachfront pool at Hotel Mesón de Mita, a 5 minute walk from the casa! Julianna and Pala are warm, responsive and respectful hosts. They were friendly but gave us plenty of space while being available for questions - really lovely people. The house itself is very charming and in a traditional Mexican style - the kitchen is particularly beautiful. It is a wonderful place to spend time in. The kitchen is well stocked and the hosts provided a very generous assortment of fruit, eggs, granola, coffee and even a fully stocked margarita bar. As the house does not have air conditioning (nor is this advertised, to be fair), it can get quite hot and stuffy, but the hosts provide fans and between these and a cool drink things are quite pleasant. The garden, shared with the second floor of the house in which the hosts live, is gorgeous. The town of Punta de Mita is modest and not particularly developed, but it has all the amenities and the gorgeous beach and nature around it. The one hitch we had during the stay was that the water cut out for a day - this was beyond the hosts' control and they were very attentive in letting us know what was going on and when it would be resolved. We loved Punto Mita, the character and the people. Juliana and Pala were kind and attentive to any questions (food, directions, markets) we had. The apartment was clean, spacious and opened to a beautiful peaceful private patio. A little oasis in the heart of PM! Great place to reflect on the morning with coffee or tea, or the day with a tequila and lime, or Dos XX. Each morning Juliana was up and watering the plants and hosing off the patio. Their dogs, Huesos and Torta, were good and never a bother. A few blocks away is an awesome café/ice cream shop, Naef, with excellent ice creams and sorbets (made in PM), and salads, sandwiches and various home blended juices and smoothies. The avocado sandwich I had was delicious!!! The apartment is moments to the beach, and beachside eateries. Ceviches and various flavored margaritas were so good!!
