"Casa Valderrama was better than we could have imagined! Starting before arrival Val and Kayleigh were on top of communications and Kayleigh was quick to respond to any questions or concerns during our time there. The house is as described, although to be honest we spent most of our time on the outside veranda and pool! THE VIEW is amazing! The kitchen is well stocked for the meals you want to cook and just relax. The beds were very comfortable. The short hike down to the village is easy but is definitely not as easy on the return, but doable for most (look for the shortcuts as described). We spent a few days on the beach but the VIEW and comfort of being on the deck continued to call us back. Although there was only four of us I can imagine enjoying a holiday here with family as there is plenty of room for everyone to be together but also plenty of space to get away for moments of quietness. You are central to make day trips to Malaga and Granada (Alhambra and Flamenco) and for a really long day - drive to catch Ferry to Tangier and stop by Gibraltar on the return for fish & chips and a pint for a couple more stamps in your Passport. We can’t say enough about Casa Valderrama! The sunsets are an experience! We hope to visit again in the future!"

"We had a room overlooking the beach which included a small balcony. I suspect that the views from the other rooms along the sides of the hotel were not quite so good. Beach access was easy - just cross the road and you're there. Mainly pebbles & coarse grit, with a few sandy patches. No problem renting a sunbed - plentiful supply. Several restaurants along the seafront, some good, some expensive. The evening buffet in the hotel was very high quality, plenty of choice, and even less expensive than most restaurants. Beach was busy but no rowdy occupants! This is our third visit & we will be back soon. "

"Beautifully located property, with excellent views of the sea and a short drive to the nearby town. The house is well kitted with all creature comforts. Good kitchen, comfortable beds, spacious bedrooms, great terraces and two toilets. Plenty of activities in the nearby towns such a s Nerja and Almañúcar. La Herradura has good chiringitos as well as restaurants and small supermarkets. The beaches are mostly pebbley but nice for family swim. We had an excellent time and the view from the house is really to die for."

"We had a lovely week here. The apartment was immaculate when we arrived and thoroughly cleaned throughout. It was well equipped and Cristina provided a highchair on request which was very much appreciated. We didn't use the pool but could see it was well kept. The area itself is quiet and very pretty, with a beautiful view from the balcony. We would highly recommended this apartment. "
