The fooodddd & the drinks were garbage my husband had food poisoning for two days it was a nightmare. We didn’t get to try restaurants because you had to reserve which was stupid. The resort Is HUGEEE so be mindful to walk a lot. That wasn’t fun so don’t Dress up ladies no need to pack your heel because you won’t be able to use them. The people and staff were wonderful but just everything else was not good and honestly will not recommended. Go else where. No entertainment once so ever. They didn’t have anything compared to the RIU RESORTS. 4/10 not much English either

The property has a lot of potential. However fall short in some areas. I believe you should experience it for yourself and will not speak negatively about the resort. The issues could fix themselves and what one person does not like, someone else does not prioritize those issues. I do believe this resort has the potential to be special and 5 Star! Beach and Pool are spectacular!

We have been here twice before..before covid..the service was not what it used to be..waited 20 minutes just for an egg..lines were crazy..also, main pool was extremely dirty..our granddaughter (10) and her friend (3) were there as well and were excited to go in the kids splash park..but they would not allow it cuz we didnt have the right color band..they were very disappointed as it was right by our room..noone mentioned it wasn't included..as well, our air conditioning in our room was not even close to being cool enough, as well as the fridge in our room.. We really love this place, but disappointed this time around..

Things we didn’t know and not like was that we couldn’t use all of the Restaurants on site. Also reservations for dinner in 24 hours advance was painful, most of the time WiFi doesn’t work or they are already booked for that night. Everything else was great.

Book this stay for to celebrate my birthday. This place was amazing and beautiful. It was a very big compound it’s a good thing they have trolleys that can pick you up or you can walk (take short cuts). The only thing I didn’t like about this place was that the food was not good at all. The only place that was a bit more tasteful was the 24 hr pub. I had to get food outside of resort which wasn’t far from the resort those places was great.

Had a great time at this resort with the Platinum experience. Really great facilities, the beach us absolutely incredible, the pools are fantastic. Food is average at most places. The only thing like is the customer service over the phone from your room. No body answers the phone and once they do they keep transferring you to different people and you never get what you are looking for. We were out of water on multiple occasions and we had to call over 20 times and still no water. They really need to review the phone customer service. Overall a great experience considering the location and beach.

I didn't like that my ceiling fell in the shower. The way it was handled like it was not big deal. That I was waking up by staff speaking loudly by my door at 7.30 to 8.30am. The cleaning done to the room was inconsistent. They provided things for one person when the room was booked for two. The food was cold. The smell of the room was strong... The booking of restaurants information not provided. Better information needed for the activities for kids. They said arcade and family club but that was explained that it was only for certain people. I like that the people were friendly. There was variety of food to choose from. The beach was clean and nice.

Firstly, we loved the wildlife that was around at the (Platinum side of the) resort - walking to breakfast with peacocks and egrets hanging out in the area was SO COOL, especially the eco-walk in the little forest area with its birds and turtles among the mangroves. The variety of options available for food and activity was great - the soft, white sand at the beach was the best, or you could enjoy the swim-up bar in the pool. The cocktails menu was extensive, and also included non-alcoholic cocktails! (The bar at the beach was the best! Not too sweet, just right) The best food we had included any of the seafood dishes, especially the seared tuna at the Soho restaurant (Platinum side) and the food truck fries. In general, we found the chicken to be a bit overcooked and the beef wasn't a great quality, but the seafood (fish, squid, etc) never disappointed. We would definitely go back to the Grand Bavaro Princess, and we aren't the only ones - almost everyone we met agreed that this was the best all-inclusive they've ever been to, and would visit again!

The property itself is wonderful. Platinum staff was great! Staff at the buffet locations were less friendly and service was not very prompt. The beach, grounds, pool… very good.

I like this property and I would stay here again. The only thing is that you have to get up real early to get a chair or cabana on the beach and leave your belongs there for the day. I would bring your own bath towels to wash and dry with because sometimes they bring bath towels, also hand soap is needed in all rooms.

Everything is great here! The food options are okay I really enjoy Tartufo, Hacienda, and El Gaucho 12/10 for service and food was good!! The guy walking around selling the excursions was top tier thank you Olivo. The beach the beautiful!!!! The stars of the resort though are Hector and the entertainment team. They make this resort stand out from others and would be one of the main reasons I would return.

Staff was friendly for the most part. Room was good , AC was a bit noisy . Food and drinks were good . Didn’t like the soliciting from staff for time share stays by telling you they are giving you something “free”! Other than that I would stay there again.

The property was nice. The food was sub par and not able to make reservations for restaurants. The staff were not very hospitable. I wish they had more options for transportation. Otherwise the air didn’t work in our room but they made sure to do all they could and made accommodations to another room. The pool was noisey but the beach was awesome and customer service was amazing. I just wish the security on the beach would have kept the ppl wanting to sell things in a central location. I was bothered every 5 min. I also lost a pair of sandals in a restraunt. Literally within a few min went back to ask the staff they didn’t try to see if anyone found them. Nor did they mention a lost and found nothing. Loved Punta Cana weather and beach. I may have to try a different resort. You get what you pay for. Overall property 3.5 out of 5

There was an employee of animotion named Felix who kept dancing inappropriately with my girlfriend. He would go out of his way to touch her and kept asking her to dance even though she was clearly with me. I don’t go to a resort to have to play defense against the employees. The rest of the staff were spectacular.

Overall is good! The stuff is great especially Wanda and Yandra they were amazing! The housekeeping wasn’t very well! The WiFi is very terrible and i think you should improve it! The place is beautiful!

The resort is huge but very easy to walk around. Being in platinum makes a huge difference and was worth every extra penny. Our biggest complaint is the food. For the most part, it was horrible. We booked many a la cart restaurants and the food was so terrible we left and went to the buffet. Maybe because it was spring break and very busy but most of the food is barely edible and the staff are overworked and don’t seem to care about your experience. Also be prepared to fight off people every ten minutes trying to sell you things at the beach or pool or just walking around the property. Overall, definitely not a 4.5 star hotel
