It was obvious that the AC unit was not functioning properly, We had to change rooms three times until we finally got a decent room. The cleaning standard is not very high and the amenities and rooms lacked of maintenance. Most of the employees who served in the hotel were not very friendly, they didn’t had good manners and they were not very polite. Internet service was very slow and there are many other things I could say about the hotel. This is definitely not a five star resort.

Common areas are too hot, air conditioner only works in the room, but restaurants and lobby are extremely hot. Food and service are good. Drinks by the pool are very sweet, however, they have different options.

The main door handle in my room didn’t work properly and the balcony door lock was also broken. One of the transportation staff was rude, we felt that he preferred to help other guests instead of us. He made us feel discriminated because we had a senior with us.

I loved the entertainment staff at the resort! They really make sure you have a good time. The beach has a lot of seaweed, they do a good job cleaning it but I think this is good to know before booking.

Good for adults, great staff, they make this experience unforgettable. For dinner book in Limbo and italian restaurant in Ambar. For sure have breakfast in the main restaurant with Ñoño. Internet can be improved. Fanny was really good for housekeeping and Bielka at the beach area.

Very disappointed, this not such thing as ALL INCLUSIVE, the hotel offer the cheapest badly taste beer or drinks other than that you have to pay. Im a disabled veteran, at check-in they gave me a third floor and there's no elevator and the solution was a 400 dollars upgrade a total scam

The food variety wasn’t great at all. We made reservation for the Mikado Japanese restaurant and once we were seated we saw a roach crawling on the wall and left. The main restaurant buffet was the same food each night. Lastly the Fish Market service was a lot to be desired. We waited for our meal for almost 45 minutes and until we threaten to leave is when we received our meal. The overall condition of the property was good. However, our room had a moldy smell. While the feral cats to some seem cute, we aren’t animal lovers and thought they were nuisances.

AMAZING RESORT. One of the best resorts I have travelled to in Punta Cana. Yesenia by the pool is such a sweet soul and makes the best drinks! Shoutout to the entire entertainment team for making the whole stay super hyped and fun, especially our friend Isidoro aka “Ice Cream”. Cant wait to come back!

We love everything at Bahia Principe resort. From the Directors like (Samuel A. - Punta Cana - and of course Banesa at Fantasia) to the excellent service and attention from head waiter (WIFI) at Camey Rest at Esmeralda to the waitresses hospitality (Maura & Aracelis) at Las Brisas on the beach as well as excellent attention from Tomas at Palmyra where we stayed at Ámbar. And we can’t forget the girls at the Coffee Shop in Ámbar as well as the outside Bar and drink service from Andreína (embarazada) and Maira. Of course : can’t forget Miguel on the beach helping with chairs and everything and of course Carlos at the Sports Bar in Esmeralda who played our Spain game and made sure we were happy. The staff is amazing, the service is superb and the food buffets are abundant and delicious. All of this is of course from the great Managers and Directors this Bahia Principe property employs. We have jumped around at all the properties and have travelled there repeatedly with and without kids and it’s always wonderful. I highly recommend a visit and stay. Once you go you’ll always want to return because everyone treats you like family.
