You'll love the calm and verdant setting of this residential area of Punaauia, and will be seduced by our warm and spacious villa. Recently renovated, its European and Polynesian-influenced decor comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. On arrival, a private entrance leads to a large covered garage adjoining the house. You'll also enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi and free access to Amazon Prime Video. Accommodation The living room and dining room are combined in a beautiful space. You'll appreciate the bright, refined ambience of this convivial living space. Cerused teak furniture, rattan armchairs, Polynesian sculptures and paintings add a touch of exoticism and elegance. The modern sofa completes this resolutely Western and Polynesian decor. Extending from the living room, large sliding glass doors open onto a covered terrace. Here, you can enjoy a drink in the outdoor lounge, or gather for a meal with a view of the lagoon and the island of Moorea. The new, custom-built kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for carefree cooking. The sleeping area For optimum quality sleep, the sleeping area features 4 air-conditioned bedrooms. All bedding is brand new and of hotel quality. A master suite with King-Size bed and large private bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds. The third bedroom has a King-Size bed and dressing room. The fourth bedroom has a King-Size bed and direct access to the pool area. Two further modern bathrooms with large showers offer additional comfort for guests. A dedicated office space is available for telecommuters. A BBQ is also available. A little history In Polynesian culture, Teanaiva is a star. Star gazing enabled Polynesian navigators to chart sea routes throughout the Polynesian triangle. Among all the constellations, ten particularly sparkling stars were the pillars of these interstellar navigations. They appear in turn in the sky to indicate the route to follow. Teanaiva is the ninth star in this group. Like Teanaiva, who guided the Polynesian navigators, we can guide and advise you during your stay. Maire and Tekura went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The stay was a highlight of our vacation. On arrival at 6am we found out that they had been checking flights for arrival times since the previous day, they welcomed us at the gate, had homemade foods for us, and were always available for any questions and requests. The Villa is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and the island of Morrea.Everything was vey clean and in excellent condition. We felt like we were staying at a resort. We arrived in the evening and the host greeted us with her family. They were so gracious and kind. They had made delicious yogurt for us to have and provided coffee for our first morning . They had also made chocolate chip cookies. Throughout our stay, they were available to help with anything we needed . We can’t say enough great things about both the host and beautiful home and location.
