If a high level of comfort, peace and quiet, and passing your days at a gentle pace are top of your holiday list, then The Mews will be a very good fit for you.  
The Mews has been beautifully converted from a tumbled down barn into a charming cottage and furnished to a very high standard. Exposed beams, re-pointed stone walls and stone floors all merge seamlessly to create a serene, comfortable living environment. Bedroom has aircon.  
The Mews adjoins another rental property Le Chevalier, both owned by Paul and Juliet, but is set back from the road and is a completely separate property with its own entrance and private courtyard.  
Puligny-Montachet is a charming wine village, with a neighbourhood Boulangerie for your morning croissants, l’Epicerie for daily groceries, a cool wine bar for aperitifs, (say Bonjour to Julien) the popular village café, a choice of bistros, and Le Montrachet, an excellent, one star Michelin restaurant. This full range of true Burgundian, gastronomic experiences is just a short walk away  
  
Features of The Mews include:  
• An open plan, living, dining and kitchen, looking out through the private terrace towards the Place du Monument.   
• A fully equipped kitchen with multi-function oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine  
• Living area with a large sofa bed, flat screen TV receiving UK and French channels, WIFI and Bluetooth speaker.   
• A large round dining table with seating for 4   
• The bedroom suite (first floor) is spacious and light with views out to the square. It has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom, with walk-in shower, wash basin and wc. Hair dryer supplied.  
• Air conditioning in the bedroom  
• Outdoors… step out through glass doors from the living area into the shaded, gravel courtyard with outdoor dining for 4\.   
• A \`starter pack\` of basics which typically includes: milk, sugar, tea, coffee, bottled water, salt & pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.  
  
• Essentials: hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen paper, foil, cling film, bin bags, matches, paper napkins.  
• All bed linen, towels, and cleaning products.  
• Cot and high chair available on request.  
• For stays of two weeks or more, we include a mid-stay clean and change of linen

#### Très bon séjour sur la route des grands crus de bourgogne 

Le gîte est très bien situé au calme a proximité des pistes cyclables permettant de traverser les vignes et de découvrir les villages au nom célèbre ( Meursault, Volnay…); il est confortable et bien équipé ( l’escalier pour aller à la chambre est raide et peut être difficile pour des personnes âgées) et le panier d’accueil est généreux ( du pain frais et du fromage en arrivant on a trouvé ça super!) nous avons apprécié aussi la boite à clés qui permet l’autonomie à l’arrivée et au départ et est également une marque de confiance ; pour tout cela merci à steve et à jill.; nous recommandons ce gîte;

#### Short stay in Puligny-Moncharet

We had a very relaxing stay in the Mews, which is an ideal bolt hole for visiting all of the surrounding areas in the Burgundy region. The most beautiful area to spend a vacation. The apartment had everything that we needed for our stay and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us on our arrival.

#### We fell in love with this property and village❤️

We’ve been traveling for about a month, staying in wonderful properties through France but we fell in love with this area and this property. You can bike everywhere, there are phenomenal restaurants around every corner and the people are delightful. Out favorite spot so far!!!

#### Great Stay in the Heart of Burgundy

We had a fantastic 6 days based in The Mews in Puligny Montrachet. This is such a unique and cozy property - just loved it. The little town of PM is great - walk everywhere, and even out around the vineyards of one of the great wine regions of the world. Great location for exploring Beaune and the Cote DÓr. Everything went very well in The Mews and it is perfect for a couple ( not too elderly because of the "stairs of death" - very minor problem for anyone with decent agility ). The bathroom was great, bed was great and it was very well fitted out. Would go back again - five stars !!

#### Absolutely lovely apartment at the ideal location

We stayed at the appointment for six nights with no issues. This cozy apartment is clean and equipped with everything you may need for pleasant stay. The little front yard is priceless. The only thing that may present an issue for anyone relying on WiFi is internet connection might be a bit sporadic.

#### Neat and clean with incredibly helpful guidebooks and owner’s manual.

The house is perfectly maintained, well laid out and centrally located. It was ideal for my wife and me for our five night stay. Breakfasts outside, great location for day trips to neighboring towns and incredibly close to some of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. Loved it!!

The House was amazing. Fantastic location and beautifully styled, elegant yet comfortable. It was perfect to tour the area and at night there were a number of choices to dine out in the village or we had a full kitchen to dine in. The house was lovely and cool due to the original stone walls which was great for relief from the heat. Would definitely recommend this property.
